    Bee Fencing and Decks

Bee Fencing recently completed the replacement of my 30-year-old privacy fence. The fence was in a…read morestate of disrepair, leaning precariously and hindering the operation of my lawnmower. The removal, disposal and replacement of 321 feet of fence took approximately four days. The original 4x4 posts were typically cut to ground level to prevent tripping hazards. Instead, steel poles were driven into the ground at least two feet, and treated boxes were strategically placed around them to conceal the poles on three sides. These boxes were constructed on-site, mirroring the robust and heavy gates. The boxes were securely attached to the steel poles using hardened steel fasteners, commonly referred to as Ram-Set Nails. The top of the boxes featured lateral rails, while three horizontal rails provided support for the pickets. In contrast, my previous fence only had two rails for picket support. These rails are the most straight and sturdy 20-foot-long 2x4s I have ever encountered. The top rail, with its wide face facing upwards, is likely to become a "Squirrel Expressway" in the future. The Bee Fencing crew, comprising up to six individuals depending on their workload, demonstrated exceptional professionalism. There was no verbal abuse, profanity, or music that disrupted the tranquility of my neighborhood. These young men were highly focused, transporting heavy pressure-treated lumber from their trucks to the backyard with remarkable efficiency. They also meticulously transported the old fence to their trucks with the same precision. At the conclusion of each day, they meticulously packed their tools and maintained the grounds. On the final afternoon, as the crew completed the installation of the last gate, I conducted a perimeter inspection and discovered only seven nails in the grass, with four of them attached into a strip. Throughout my career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for over three decades, I dedicated myself to assisting individuals in developing effective work habits or reintegrating into the workforce. The Bee Fencing crews operating during the past week exemplified the principles I consistently sought to impart to my clients. Their expertise is such that they could serve as instructors for my clients or even my grandchildren.

I was having privacy fence across my backyard and wood and metal along the side yard. I was also having them remove chainlink fence also. I contacted my project manager and informed him I would like to change measurements of the privacy fence. Rob came out again and he set the flags for the fence. I learned a valuable lesson Read every quote and email you get immediately. If you have questions email them but If you don't get a reply back when you think you should, call them, don't assume that they received your email. Be sure if you change your ideas everyone is aware. Communication is the only way to ensure you get what you expected. Even though I'm not getting a fence. Their management is top notch!!!

This crew showed up EARLY every single day.  There was never any no show, surprises, or uncertainty.  As with any project, there are issues that come up.  In my case, nobody's fault, just is what it is.  That said, each and every time there was clear communication and joint decisions to resolve.  Money was saved anywhere it could.  If more money needed, I was given options to choose.  If I needed a redo, no push back whatsoever.  Very clear the goal was to make me happy with them and the end result. It's great when you know everyone on a first name basis from the construction crew to the back office to the owner. The worst I can say is my water bill went up a few dollars because we love our showers so much we can't get out!  We did a kitchen, two baths and a new fence.  We would 1000% use D.A.Y. again and sharing referrals with our friends and family.

I want to start off by saying that these are truly nice people. This review is nothing against…read morethese people personally. However, I had my bathroom remodeled back in September. I have had a few months to consider the quality of the work that was done. I have attached pictures. Honestly, I regret doing the project now. I wish I could go back in time and not do it. The tiling job on the shower definitely looks like a DIY project. It does not look like a professional tile job. The grout lines are horrific. The bathroom floor tile job was actually worse. The floor popped and snapped and many spots sounded hollow. They came out to "fix" it but could really never fix it. I ended up paying a different tile guy to tear up the new floor and put it a new new floor. It doesn't pop or snap. It looks clean and the grout lines are all the same size. Tile jolly should have been used in several places and it wasn't. I have exposed tile edges in my shower and that should not be the case. I had the new tile guy spruce up the shower bench and it looks much nicer. The new vanity is not flush against the wall. The new faucet drips behind the stream of water. Honestly, there is nothing in this remodel that I enjoy and I wish I had never had the project done. These are really nice people, but I do not think they know how to do tile. Another things is that I was told I could not have a shower niche, when in fact, the new tile man said I certainly could have. Also, do not be deceived into thinking they take credit card payments. They do not. All in all, I am completely unhappy with the workmanship. I am completely unhappy with the project and totally regret using them to do the project. They are nice people, but I would not recommend.
