It's a small place but just great. That gets a 5 star rating. The lady at the front desk was curt. My wife had to quiz her to get any info. She was short. We wanted to do a river trip, but ended up going with a competitor with friendly and helpful staff. Another problem... power went out at night. We called the office and left a message to call us when they opened. We called the emergency number and got a message that no messages could be left... goodbye... After 8 AM we called the office again and got the same, no message could be left, goodbye. Never heard back from anyone. In all fairness, there were two people behind the desk. One seems nice. This reflects the fact that one employee can ruin the entire experience.

Bob and Carol have made sure you have every possible modern comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. Every room is beautifully decorated, even including wood elements from trees cut from the property. Their home is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views overlooking the canyon. One of our favorite moments was enjoying Nawlins coffee on the peaceful deck in the morning--so relaxing. The house itself was lovely, and breakfast in their gorgeous new addition was truly top notch. 10/10 experience--we'll definitely be back and will happily recommend to others!

His property is right across from the trailhead of one of the best hikes in the area, his lodge is clean and cozy, and the campsites are perfect. You sort of feel like you're staying with family! Already looking forward to coming back here in the spring.
