Though others said they'd check their schedule and get back to me, no one did, except Mike L. who was to my house within an hour, perhaps much sooner. Ultimately, shortly before arriving power was back on throughout the house without doing anything, but I noticed a utility truck down the alley a couple blocks--that likely was related. Mike checked my box and found no issues, and noted the breakers all seem to be new, but can't fix something if it's working!! Jason Tse was my tech and he explained their down payment and charges. I was given 3 quotes each for the difficulty of the repair. I knew it was going to be expensive. I signed to continue the work. Who else could I get at 5pm on New Year's Eve? Jason went to work trying to locate the source. He checked the breaker box, voltage and nothing was pinpointing the cause. Jason really wanted to find and fix the problem before the night was out. And back to work Jason went. He isolated the problem around 8pm after checking the lines in the attic and each room. I genuinely wish Jacob had been involved from the beginning because I believe much of this situation could have been avoided.
