We are first time customer of Awesome Home Services. We were customers of a well-known Colorado Springs plumbing company. We have used that company for close to 20 years. After we called them to replace a leaking water shut off valve and a dripping shower mixing cartridge we had had enough. After they replaced the mixing cartridge, they did not check their work. Instead of a drip we had a full-on river running from my shower. After a bit of a run around with them, we dropped them. We reached out to Awesome Home Services, and they sent Craig Rehm out to us within a few hours. Craig listened to our issues and then made a complete diagnosis of the problem. He went step by step to determine the problem. While the other company's plumber just replaced the cartridge and left. Craig thorough inspection process determined that my brass housing had wear and corrosion from years of use that no number of new cartridges would ever be able to work without leaking. He pointed out the issues for us to see. He then suggested several courses of action for us and full cost estimates. He completely answered all our questions on the recommendations. We decided that we would replace the valve housing with a matching set. Craig was able to replace the valve housing by going through the dry wall behind the valve without touching the existing shower tiles. He installed water shut off valves to isolate the showers if repairs are ever needed again and then used plastic covers that fit over the holes in the dry wall to give us access to the shut off values. Fortunately, all this work is covered by a chest of drawers anyway. Craig did the work flawlessly and neatly. He was courteous and professional the entire time. He completed the work how he said he would and when he said he would. We were so impressed with Craigs work that we have fired the other company and have picked Awesome Home Services to be our plumbing company from now on. Nate Medford - Incredibly AWESOME!!! We asked for the electrical inspection of the Awesome Club Membership Program (excellent value!!!) ... Nate didn't just inspect, he explained. Nate also didn't just explain, he corrected issues along the way. (One, of several, examples: those exterior outlets that wouldn't work at Christmas when I went to plug in my lighted reindeer? "Oh, I bet they are controlled by a GFCI outlet." He found the controlling GFCI outlet behind ladders in the garage and voila! Electricity restored!!) So by the time he came to the electrical subpanel for our auxiliary building, I could already recognize that the panel had problems. His explanations also cleared up why two of our outlets in that building had looked burned when we bought the property! Today he brought the subpanel up to code and prevented a probable electrical fire. But that's not all. Nate was willing to spend lengthy time on the phone with me over the past week, giving me clear guidance on LED fixtures to replace our dim florescent lighting. With Matthew's help, today the 6 light fixtures were replaced, a necessary wireless carbon detector and GFCI outlet installed, and for fun and convenience, 2 USB outlets given. Of special note: the GFCI outlet was not a simple swap-out. Nate had to cut into the trim for that installation, which he did incredibly cleanly and precisely. Because I'm part of their Membership Plan, Awesome was out today to do several inspections of my home's systems. Elliot came out to do an HVAC maintenence and I was really impressed with Elliot, his knowledge, and thoroughness. He went over my whole system and found a few deficiencies that I will need them to fix. Logan did an inspection on my garage door and opener. He told me about some features of the opener that I didn't know about and gave it a clean bill of health. Austin came out to check my plumbing and did a very complete inspection. Austin did a great job and didn't find any issues. Josh came out to inspect my electrical. He found a glaring issues that somehow had not caused any problems up until now but seems to have been missed by the builder and PPRBD's inspector. He quickly fix that issue and gave some recommendations for other things that we could do. All four techs were very professional, knowledgeable, and all around good humans. At least two of them were prior Army and I appreciate their service very much. So far, the Membership Program has already paid for itself and I highly recommend it and Awesome Home Services. read more

Mr. Arber Kucana visited our home to inspect our furnace. A very pleasant and polite gentleman who was extremely professional, personable, and transparent from the very beginning. Mr. Kucana explained everything he would be doing and looking for and established expectations between the two of us which was greatly appreciated. He even welcomed me joining him in the crawlspace to learn and observe and explained everything he was doing along the way. A humble and professional representative of the company. The day prior, Logan and Cedric came out to assess some functionality with my garage door. The fix was very straightforward and the two of them were polite and personable. The service was not an outrageous price and there was no feeling of pressure to buy anything unnecessary. Thank you both! New to Fountain and two weeks in our new home and our guest bathroom fan wouldn't shut off! Decided that it had to be more than a faulty switch, so I remembered that I had talked to Awesome Home Services at the last Home Show in Colorado Springs and still had their card so I gave them a call asking for an electrician. And I am so glad that I did. Jason Tse arrived the same afternoon and the problem was that the fan and switch were wired incorrectly. Way beyond my ability to fix. Jason had to crawl in the attic and rewire the fan correctly and the wire the switch correctly as well. A few up and downs the stairs but he got the job done. Jason was extremely polite and professional. Cleaning up after himself he explained in great detail what the problem was and how he fixed what was a very poor installation of the bathroom fan and switch. I'm extremely grateful for his service and skills. If I'm ever in need again of an electrician, I would not hesitate to call Awesome Home Services and By Name Request Jason Tse to do the job! Everything we experienced from Awesome Home Service was amazing. We had gotten several quotes from around the springs and ended up going with Awesome because of their quality, availability and pricing. We went with a little more expensive system but man it is so well worth it! The work, the communication, the respect, the cleanup after.. We will be using these guys for all of our home needs. We had Arber initially come out and talk with us about our system and what would best fit our home. Tony, Jose, and Ben then showed up on time and did not stop working until they were finished, they did an absolute amazing job installing our new ac and furnace. They even put on and took off boot covers EVERY time they came in and out! Korey and Justin arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. I appreciated that they put on their Booties before entering my home. They asked several questions to be sure just what they were being asked to do and went right to work. They repaired my furnace/AC unit, checked my outside compressor, and answered my questions. I was appreciative that they asked if I wanted to have them replace my furnace and humidifier filters that I had sitting nearby, as I am elderly and have trouble moving around my crawlspace to do that kind of thing. The cost was reasonable, and they showed me some wires that obviously had heated up and discolored the insulation. Since decades ago I had 154 rentals that I did all of the maintenance on for a management company, I have experience with HVAC. These guys are good! Also, the price was reasonable for all of the maintenance they accomplished. My HVAC equipment is 17 years old, and I will be contacting them when it comes time for replacement. read more

Great service from Craig and Willie yesterday and today. Yesterday, after a thorough inspection and double checking things, Craig gave me 4 quote options for repairs of my backyard faucet, and I felt no pressure to choose a certain one. The 2 came back today to complete the job since it was raining and late yesterday, but Craig Was willing to stay and do the work if I felt it was necessary. They showed up on time, got the work done quick, and checked that everything was functioning properly before leaving. They also kindly put up with my protective pup barking at them most of the time. A few hours later, I noticed there was a pipe below that was in the way of connecting the hose, they were quick to come back and fix it the way I preferred. Also, the dispatch person, Hannah?, was so nice and helpful. "How can we make your day Awesome?!" And a text was sent each time the tech was on the way with a picture and profile! I loved it. I needed to have my AC maintenance done. I was given a membership to their company last year. Anthony came and cleaned up the exterior of AC as well as the inside of house parts. He noticed when he turned on the water outside, how loud and weird it sounded. It had been like that for a while. He advised to get a plumber. This is actually part of the many areas they help with in their company. When he was done with all AC needs, he then fixed my dryer vent that was damaged by the painting company I used the week before. Then he gave me a jump for my truck. All of this was done by Anthony for no charge!! And he was such a compassionate, knowledgable and obviously skilled person. I appreciate Anthony and the awesomeness of the company's goal to do a great job and offer great customer service! I will use them again, and you should check them out if you need their services. Plumber Clay is AWESOME, as the company name indicates. Clay went above and beyond to explain everything that caused my emergency leak/s, he identified the source of my ongoing plumbing emergencies that the previous plumbers couldn't figure out--AND THAT PREVIOUS OWNER DIDN'T DISCLOSE--nor did 3 inspectors to buying this house. He scheduled repairs to work with my budget constraints to hopefully resolve ALL issues. Dear Dale, Dave and I wanted to share the outstanding experience we had with John. Our furnace humidity had been struggling at just 19%, and we could really feel the impact. When John arrived, he brought a true "fresh pair of eyes." After two prior visits from Awesome without a solution, John immediately noticed what others had missed. I called Awesome Home Services with the intent to add air conditioning to my home. Joseph Friel and Justin came to complete that task and went above and beyond with their concerns for why I should replace a furnace that I was told from other inspectors that it would last. They not only told me what the issue was, but they also showed me exactly how the issue was being caused. This kind of professionalism is not often seen because companies make more money by fixing problems they create. Awesome Home Services is not that kind of company. To repair our boiler which was not heating our water or providing heat We called & had immediate response. Craig R. was the Tech & he is AWWWsome. He was here within 2hrs We've never had anyone explain the problem so well He gave us an estimate that he said may be more if he found additional issues . He didn't & we feel the cost was very fair and will use them from now on. The company we had used for over 20 years did not return our call for over 3 hrs & then could not come out until Friday . After getting several estimates, Arber K. from Awesome Home services was the only one that realized that we had the wrong size AC and the vents were not correct for the amount of air flow we needed. So I decided to go with them. The follow week Ben K., Robby K., and Mike R. came out to do the installation. They replaced the furnace, put in the correct size AC, corrected the vents, and did a duct cleaning. They were all super professional and just great people. After all these years we finally have AC that doesn't freeze 77 degrees and we are prepared for winter. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

Joseph Friel did an outstanding job cleaning out my HVAC unit but more importantly, he identified clogged drains that were missed by the two previous companies that serviced my HVAC. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. What was truly impressive is that he took the time to explain the downstream effects of the clogged drains and how they could cost thousands of dollars in repairs if not properly cleaned annually. Awesome Home Services is truly awesome. We take hot water for granted much like the air we breathe until you don't have it. Our water heater shut down and we had nothing but cold water until this morning when "Josh" arrived from Awesome Home Services. I called awesome home services because I thought my garbage disposal was broken, but it ended up being. I turned the switch off by mistake. I called awesome home services and they came out and did not charge me anything because I accidentally turned the switch off. I thought that was great for a company that will take the time out to come to your house and not charge you if they didn't fix anything, not many companies will do that most companies will charge you so I would definitely recommend awesome home services to Clayton for everything he did. read more
