Took my car to Walmart service dept in Seguin Tx to get an oil change, new wiper blades and…read morepossibly buy new tires. Car was there for 3 hours only to find out they didnt do anything. They canceled everything because supposedly there was no threads on the drain plug. Took it to Take 5 in New Braunfels Oil quickly changed. Tires still going down so I now feel that they just added air and didn't actually check the tires for leaks. Be wary if they tell you something is wrong with your vehicle. Very unprofessional and will never take my car back there. Disgusted and disgruntled. Update: after I got the oil changed I went to discount tire down the road. They found (and i saw it with my own two eyes) a bubble on the front tire. So the employees did not check the tires like they said. Both front tires needed to be replaced. Do better Walmart!! And for the record this happened on 5/25/26.

If you don't know, now you know. Although Samosa's similar to empenadas, or other patties can all have varied ingredients, these are an Indian all veggies and spice samosa, mostly potatoe based with a amazing flake crust. I have had the good fortune to have worked in Seguin for many years and this is one of those many hidden gems of the town. It's way more "manageable" than bigger H-E-Bs, & while they might not have the obscure organics or artisanal offerings of a Central Market or other H-E-B's, this store is a hidden gem. The shelves are always stocked, the aisles are always clear, & the associates are always happy & quick to help. I pretty much know where everything is, but the few times I've wandered aimlessly looking for something, fellow shoppers -- mostly older & wiser -- have helped me find whatever it is I'm hunting down. I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. Maybe because I grew up in the area, or maybe I just like how leisurely a shopping trip here is; I enjoy my time spent here, & I think it's a nice change of pace from the Walmarts & Targets of the world. A pro-tip: the H-E-B app is a great help for a store as condensed as this one (& any H-E-B in general). It tells you aisle by aisle if they have something you want in stock, so you can save time, gas, & energy if you need something in a pinch.

Stopped by on a trip down to New Braunfels and was really impressed with their selection (both…read morelocally grown produce as well as some internationally imported food items and snacks). They also carry a number of jarred items (honey, molasses, pickles, jams, sauces) as well as locally raised meats and I enjoyed going aisle by aisle looking my through their inventory I was also happy to see that they carry a number of gluten free items, including flour and pastas that I'm able to find at my local grocery store. I also loved that they have fresh baked breads and desserts, as well as sandwiches to order to go (didn't try any on this visit, but they looked excellent online!). I did pick up a bit of their jalapeño beef jerky which wasn't super tough like jerky sometimes is and also was super salty, which was appreciated. The staff seemed friendly and ready to help. Across from the store is a bbq spot with seating and I'll be sure to visit there on my next visit. The ONLY reason why I couldn't give a 5-star review this time is I had a very hard time finding the prices on a number of items (especially in their freezer/refrigerated sections). It made it a bit inconvenient and I didn't want to keep going up to the counter to check the costs each time. Other than that, I'd highly recommend a visit!
