At the restaurant, the chef (I believe it was the chef) came over to say that "looks like you were able to get a reservation" bc I had put my name on the waiting list. So do no that if you want to drink alcohol here that it's Bring Your Own Wine. The staff wasn't sure if we knew since we weren't locals and I think the chef offered us beer that he got for us. That was so nice but my husband didn't want to drink as he wanted to make sure he would be okay to drive and then make sure I'm ok because of my injured foot he declined. But we hope they were not offended. We had really appreciated the gesture! Now on to the food. It was AMAZING and so delicious! The presentation was absolutely beautiful. The flavors were well balanced. The food was very fresh. We even tried the snails -- that was interesting :) My husband has eaten snails before but it was my first time. I have to give HIGH honors to their maple soft serve and their milk chocolate AND salted caramel chocolate coatings. Also here's a tip to get more chocolate: ask for your soft serve in a bowl, but ask for the size ice cream you want in a cup one size UP. This allows the soft serve to be fully coated with chocolate. If you don't want to ask for a cup, you can also ask for your cone double dipped.

I tried to use Google Translate to understand the menu but the friendly waitress was more than happy to explain it to me in English. They were very accommodating and let us sit at the bar on a very crowded Friday evening. You could watch the chef and two sous chefs prepare all the meals. They had a very interesting menu although we were tired and it was late and we just got a hamburger and they very graciously made up a green salad for my wife. The hamburger was one of the best I've ever had. It had bacon and onion rings on it with a wonderful sauce and came with a salad and, of course, french fries. My wife had a great green salad. At the bar you can watch them prepare all the meals. If you're American and a bit squeamish you may not like the fact that they seem to mix all the ingredients without gloves are washing their hands. You had the sense that they were very proud of the food they were serving. We were staying in a hotel around the corner which was a bit creepy and this was a wonderful respite. There seem to be a lot of restaurants in this area but not a lot with great reviews. This is definitely worth stopping in for a great meal.
