As a frequent shopper I enjoy their loyalty program, every once in a while I get $20 off. They usually have good weekly sale items on a variety of everyday and specialty items. Helpful, attentive, knowledgeable staff. Convenient highway access with a medium sized, free parking lot. The thing that pushes them to 5 stars for me is their community support. Not only do they provide donations, etc. they have a room that they share with community charity groups free of charge - now that is easily worth a star.

There's a bakery next door that also has a lot of great European rolls/breads and even desserts but also mixed in are North American treats as well so as much as this probably started out as an authentic German bakery and deli, it's now turned into a heavily German influenced bakery and deli. Still, for Kelowna, it's a good find for German products. Like many German delis, prices on packaged goods are obviously high as they are imports but where else are you going to find these products anyhow? I highly recommend the Moulin Rouge (flourless mousse cake) any of the chocolates that include caramel, and the cherry ganache (candy). They also had mille-feuille, which is made of thin layers of pastry with pastry cream in between. It blew my mind. Service was okay. The young women who worked in both places were super busy and a bit impatient. As far ambiance goes, everything was bright white and clean. Expect a line.

The Millefeuille had a wonderfully crispy pie crust, and the cream was perfectly sweet; I really enjoyed it. The Cruffin's filling was very flavorful, although the dough could have been crispier. Nevertheless, it still tasted very good. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting this bakery-cafe. It had a cute ambiance and many options for cakes and baked goods.
