I've only been to one other range, so I don't have much to compare Talon to. That said, I'm happy…read morewith my annual membership which allows me to bring one other person for free each visit. I just have a pistol, so the only bays I've been to are 1-5. They are right in front of the office where you sign in and out. You can walk from the parking lot to the bay or you can drive there. The shooting bays are more or less private and surrounded on all sides by berms. If the measuring app on my phone is to be believed, bays 1-5 offer up to 50 ft distance depending on where you stand. There is a camera watching each bay, so make sure you follow range rules. As for the rest of the facilities, I was never offered a tour or orientation, so i couldn't say. If you are thinking of coming here, there is a waiver and safety quiz you have to fill out. You can do it in their office, but it's easier imho to do it on their website before you arrive. You can rent their equipment or bring your own.
