I ended up trying on a diamond necklace that I just fell in love with. I also saw that they had a gorgeous selection of engagement rings, which I wanted to try on, but restrained myself so as not to scare the boyfriend! Especially since they were all from different jewellers and time periods. I found being at Old N Gold an awkward experience and funnily enough went round the corner and sold all the rings to a different jeweller who professionally assessed them and paid me the current gold price. I will never cross the doorstep of Old N Gold again, an awful experience.
