Most recently, I had a mother's day shoot scheduled with Ani with my 2 under 2 children. The morning of the shoot was rough, children were extra cranky, I was running behind because my hair appointment was taking longer than anticipated, and was an overall chaotic day! On our way to the shoot, traffic was insane. Throughout our drive to the location, I kept updating her on our eta (which kept getting longer and longer)! However, Ani was so understanding, reassuring, and kept saying to just have a safe drive. Needless to say we arrived 45 mins late. My nerves and anxiety at this point were through the roof because I was not sure how my 2 tired children who had been in the car for almost 2 hrs at this point, were even going to entertain a photoshoot. Well, thank goodness for Ani. She set the tone as soon as we got there. She greeted and welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Her positive energy and fabulous way with children just turned everything for the better from that point on. My children were immediately drawn to her and had an amazing time with this shoot. Everything felt so easy, painless, and free flowing as she captured such special moments for my family and I, so beautifully. I recommend Ani 100/10 for any event/occassion. Photography was number one on my list, even over my dress etc., because I expected it to be a memorable day and I wanted to cherish it for as long as I could. I knew that pictures would help with just that. There were several qualities I was looking for in photography, these being--intimate, timeless, and clear. After meeting with several photographers, I felt that Christine had these qualities consistently throughout her work. My daughter recently did a group graduation photoshoot with her friends, and we had the pleasure of…read moreworking with Lisa. We booked months in advance, knowing this was something special we wanted to do. One of the moms, who's a returning client of Lisa's, coordinated the date, and Lisa managed all the individual contracts, waivers, and payments via Venmo seamlessly. She kept communication clear and organized through a group text with all the moms, which was incredibly helpful. Lisa was professional, patient, and never made the girls feel rushed. She's familiar with our school's location and offered thoughtful suggestions for the best lighting and backgrounds, which made a noticeable difference in the quality of the shots. To make the shoot even more special, I'd suggest bringing a few personal props, like a graduation cap and gown, a framed baby photo, roses, or leis. These don't need to be in every shot, 1-2 could add a meaningful and fun touch for a fews shots. Our group opted for a second outfit change into their college t-shirts, which added a personal and celebratory feel as they look ahead to their next chapter. Choosing photos was actually difficult, in the best way, because there were so many beautiful options. Each girl ended up with at least 2-3 individual portraits and 2-3 group shots they absolutely loved, but honestly, there were many more to choose from. Doing the shoot with friends made the experience feel more relaxed and fun. The girls were cheering each other on, helping fix hair and outfits, and just enjoying the moment together. It took the pressure off and created a supportive, joyful vibe. I highly recommend doing a graduation photoshoot with friends, and Lisa made it a truly equitable, enjoyable experience where everyone walked away with photos they're happy with.
