Valerie has been very helpful--I accidentally messed up my hand spint/brace that they made me when I slipped on ice. Valerie was able to see me later that afternoon and repair it for me, and I had been then earlier in the day for therapy! I love tye paraffin wax hand dip and the hand massage! That seems to really help loosen my hand up. Four weeks of occupational therapy, and I see massive improvement in my use and strength since surgery mid December. Another great feature for me is its not far from our home! The receptionist, Deneesha, is a sweetheart. She always greets you with a smile. I'm working on her though--trying to help her not be afraid of black cats! Haha! No seriously, she is definitely a crowd's jewel to the therapusts! Deneesha is very personable as well as helpful!

I did use the ice machine and the leg machine which I loved it. Made me push myself up to 100% for speed and 120 for the bend. The girls I had worked hard with me and they just couldn't believe that I did so well with it. It pays to work hard I have no limp and I'm very happy with the turn out. Peter and Nicole were both very professional. Nicole explained that my neck and shoulder muscle pain was being caused by those muscles attempting to compensate for the shoulder rotary cuff injury I had incurred. Nicole was very informative, took time to explain the inner workings of my shoulder and what she hoped therapy would accomplish. I found Peter and Nicole to be understanding, patient and in the end I have much less discomfort because of their expertise. I had 2 previous laminectomies performed by the same IU neurosurgery professor. Shortly after being…read moresent here for physical therapy on the stretch table by my pain doctor, my surgeon considered the efficacy of a 3rd laminectomy. I told the owner that my surgeon needs to be part of care coordination and that i need to pause the next session to get his feedback. The owner was having none of it and demanded that i continue regardless. He fired me via text that day and texted once again that evening, telling me to never return. Understand there were no harsh words and i found his unwillingness to coordinate care disturbing. Concerns were valid since my surgeon prohibited stretch table therapy around the surgery date and weeks thereafter. I had a 3rd laminectomy, 5wks in a walker, 2wks in a cane, subsequent physical therapy elsewhere. Surgeon says it takes a full year to heal my motor nerve damage. Consider all aspects of physical therapy including a firm's willingness to work with multiple healthcare providers. I cannot recommend this firm if you are working with more than 1.

I was recommend by my orthopedic doctor to come here and see Marek for physical therapy. I am so glad i came here. I originally came to get enough pt so I could get an mri but Marek's care and thorough workouts helped alleviate my shoulder pain. I no longer experience numbness and the nerve pain in my neck which was connected to my shoulder practically disappeared. I have been to four other doctors and chiropractors before this establishment and none have been able to help me until now. I am extremely grateful and if I ever injure myself again (hopefully not) I definitely know where I'll go !
