These folks came and gave me a quote for some work. Their representative walked up, started talking, and didn't stop talking until I closed the door behind her 30 minutes later. She was all over the board. From talking about something about painting art on discarded hotel room doors, to asking the other contactors around her where they were from. It was very bizarre. I had to interrupt her several times to tell her if she would just listen to me I would explain what I wanted done. Short of it, I'm getting the same job done, and more, for almost 40% less. After she finally left we looked at each other and said,"Damn, I feel like I need a nap after dealing with her!" Maybe, as she says, they do fabulous work, but She missed her calling selling used cars. read more

Don't not use this company!!! Owner is very pushy & will not listen to you. Painted entire house for us. 3mths later deck started peeling, owner stated the paint/ Stain was mixed wrong by sherwin Williams. She did come back sand down & repainted it. It has now been 4 mths & is lifting again. She states the wood is bad on a 4yr deck. The only way she will restain/paint will be if I replace all boards or turn them over let them dry for 3-4mths. If boards are bad why would I turn them over?? The reason I say paint/stain is when she was doing the work. It was an oil base & she was the only one who knew how to do it. She will quote you all the warranties for her work but when something is wrong you have to go through manufacturer. read more

Armstrong Painting completed the exterior and interior of my house. Some of the interior was very involved including the entire 3 story stairwell. I did have 2-3 coats outside, all hand painted, on a 3 story house with all trim and deck railings done. Brandon Armstrong also went the extra step while I was out to sand and stain the front porch and restore all 9 door thresholds. Worst ever! Please spare yourself the headache. She will talk over you, not listen AND always has a cigarette in her hand; which as an asthmatic that is a problem for me. She did the work of a child...actually my child could do better and tried to price gouge us in the process. Her man (John) actually broke in through my fence to get to the area when I was not available- without asking! This is the level of "professionalism" they bring. They literally screwed AND nailed hinges on backwards!! Then has the nerve to call her own work "shitty" upon confrontation. I had to put No trespassing signs as they attempted to return and break through my fence again; but finally after several "No's" from me...She finally listened. I've had 2 contractors (real ones) review the work since then and they've both been appalled. They even told me she used T- wood (because it's cheap and thin) instead of a sturdier material. Do Not get involved with this company if you value your home, property, etc... LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!! read more
