I am appalled that someone who declares himself to be a Christian and an educator spews such offensive language and lies. I am all for 1A. As a veteran I fought for those rights, however, the responsibility of having free speech is knowing when and how to voice those opinions and when to use a filter. My concern is that his misogynistic, racist, and homophobic rhetoric is being communicated, either directly or indirectly, to the students of Hillsborough. In most of his statements he seems to be consumed with the subject of pedophilic ideologies. This would be considered indoctrination from the "right" point of view. I called the school and spoke with Doug Boyd regarding Mr. Lewis. He was very condescending, defensive, and without question, supported Mr. Lewis's actions to the extreme that when I brought up Mr. Lewis's Facebook page which shows the same type of propaganda, Mr. Boyd, outright and blatantly, stated that I possibly created a fake FB page under Mr. Lewis's name. This type of negative influence cannot be tolerated or continued within the realm of children who can be so perversely influenced. To do so can only creates hate and animosity within families and the community who are marginalized instead of the love, tolerance, and compassion that is supposed to be taught by the Christian faith.

My 3 year old son has been going here for a year and I absolutely LOVE this school. I only have one…read morechild and had no idea how to potty train him. The teacher for the 2 year old class, Mrs. Pat, basically did this for me! My son can sing his ABCs, knows his shapes, knows his colors, can count to 12, has learned how to share and so much more! He didn't know any of this when he started. The facility is clean and they decorate for the holidays. The meals are included with the price, home-cooked and MORE than enough. The kids are good kids. You don't walk in to bad words, fighting or any of that. They all give my son a hug everyday when he leaves, and even the big kids are patient and friendly with him too. The school is equally diverse, which I love, so my son has learned to be friends with every kind of person! They have people come and take pictures that you can purchase with professional backgrounds, they have holiday parties and do really cool arts and crafts projects. The 3 and 4 year old kids are together, so my son is already literally learning everything from the VPK courses. Right now, he is learning to write letters! It's like getting two years of preparation before kindergarten instead of just one. When my son "officially" starts VPK next year, he will definitely be way ahead of the game. They have a big, fenced in play yard where my son loves to roam. They are so affordable that I almost didn't use them. I didn't trust the price. But they are truly exceptional and I am grateful I went with my gut. I am very protective of my little boy and went to several different daycares before I found this one. Thank goodness I did. My son went to Burnett Middle School and when he went there he said that it was the best experience…read moreand he learned so much.He never got into any fights and he passed with straight A's all through his 3 years there.All of the teachers were nothing but nice and helpful.
