First, the shop has the largest selection of modern comic books at COVER PRICE that I've ever seen. Second, they have a dazzling selection of CGC comic books for those who like their comics professionally graded. Third, they have a vast selection of fairly priced vintage comic books that aren't in slabs. Did I mention all of the autographed comics? Graphic novels? The staggering selection of action figures, statutes, and merchandise? Legos? Star Wars merch? The 17.76% off sale when I visited around the Fourth of July? I could seriously go on and on (I'm not exaggerating when I say I browsed and shopped for four hours straight and STILL didn't see it all.) If you asked me what my favorite part of Galactic Comics was, the answer is easy. It's the people. Dale, the owner, was so friendly and personable. His employees were also kind and approachable. They made me feel very welcomed and were all ready to help. I will definitely shop with them again online, and when I return to South Carolina, they are guaranteed to have my business again.

This store has a good variety of durable medical supplies, orthopedic and diabetic shoes, braces, walkers, wheelchairs, scooters and more! The owner was on site when we went in to check things out and we loved how attentive and genuine he was in helping us learn about the store and their services. Parking is available in the front lot, or around back of the store. There are two wheelchair accessible spots out front. The store is open, bright and very clean, with room to easily maneuver a wheelchair. Items are clearly marked and the staff are kind, patient and willing to assist. They make the process of selecting diabetic shoes so much easier because they take care of all the paperwork with your doctor and your insurance company, and they are the only store of its kind who travel to clients anywhere in South Carolina! You also have the option to go in and buy items out of pocket if you choose, at reasonable rates. This location is conveniently situated accross from the hospital and next to a medical clinic.

We took the hour drive to Florence, and it was well worth the trip. Samuel went above and beyond the call of duty for us. From the moment he greeted us at the door. He was friendly and courteous and had a great sense of humor. He took his time with my dad. Explained everything he needed to know about diabetic shoes and fitted him perfectly. He quoted us 4-5 weeks before they would be in. A week later, he called me and said they were there! He also made the trip to our home to bring them to us! I enjoyed the rime he took with us and made us feel important. We will be using 97 Cares for all our medical equipment needs.

My statement is a…read moreBUYER BE AWARE: when I purchased the twin mattresses I was allowed to pick them out myself; I asked if I could return to Southern Bedding LTD to p/u mattresses with a truck and was told yes. When I returned for my mattresses I got them to their destination and upon opening the thick plastic rap, I realized they NO longer matched like the two I originally picked out and Paid for; so I called SB LTD to make them aware of the mattresses difference and see if Ms. Penny made a mistake and somehow mixed the mattresses with another order. She admitted it was possible since their warehouse is loaded with so many new mattresses. What turned me off is: Penny's brother calling me back to make me believe that one of the mattresses I received was more costly than the other one and if I decide to return he would have to charge me the difference to exchange the one mattress. I was asked him why when the mattresses I originally picked out when I purchased them was exactly alike patterns wise and thickness were as the two I picked up one was slightly thinner than the other one. I did explain to Penny's brother that I didn't appreciate nor would I PAY anymore money for what I honestly pre-paid for already. This guy was admitted that his sister Penny messed up and sold one of my already purchased mattresses and the ones here now are a bit more money than the two I had already purchased. Florence doesn't have much to do, so Magnolia Mall is considered an attraction. The mall serves…read moremost of the Pee Dee area, so it gets a lot of foot and car traffic. Malls in general are dying, but on the day I visited- a few days before Christmas- it was packed! The traffic from I-95 helps too- if you are traveling through SC and need shopping, this Florence exit is the place to stop. Travelers staying in hotels also have store options (Belk, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods) to buy whatever they may have forgotten or need. While Target isn't a mall anchor, it is just a short walk across the Belk parking lot. A lot of the typical mall stores I liked here have closed- Victoria's Secret, Express, Aeropostale. A lot of the newer mall stores are not my style but seem to be doing well for the demographics of this area. The Primo Pizza in the food court closed, but it still has Chick-Fil-A, Chinese Food, Charley's, and plenty of other options just down the road. What used to be JC Penney when I was growing up has been replaced with a huge arcade. I didn't go inside, but it's great that the mall has a place for folks to hang out, have fun, and be together, fostering friendships without necessarily buying stuff.

The first time I came had to ask other students where it was because didn't see any direction signs on campus. If your near the on campus Police, it's down walkway beside and across from the library. The bookstore itself is about the right size for this small college w merchandise prices what you'd expect for college apparel. I believe there were three employees working and the busiest it got was about 4 ppl in line. Not certain on the store hours might be nice to peruse the gear on a weekend.
