He said I would have to call the service number, which said that I need my receipt, which was printed on a disappearing paper. When I got it reprinted, they told me that they only have 1 year on it. It has a 10 year warranty sticker still on the ref. This was a double door fridge. Should not break within a year for 37,000 pesos. For a customer that spends a significant amount when I go, and have them tell me that they will do nothing about it? Shame. It's not a cheap item. And to receive no help. Well, you lost my business, as well as my sisters. Sad. I went again to talk with 3 different managers. He told me they have a protocol they have to go through ( basically tell me they will email my boss with the details, takes your phone number, and address. ) he said if he were to take the refrigerator back, it would come out of his pocket. (No it doesn't) if it were true you can file a claim for it because he was just following the law. The law says you must honor the warranty. There is nobody from American homes helping, willing to fix the refrigerator. It is a scam. Selling broken and defected products.

Some days when I'm out in the afternoon and thinking, "Hmm, what should I eat?" it kinda comes off as a joke since the deciding process is short and immediately comes up with the answer: "Jamaican beef pattie, duh." If you've ever seen a funky-freshly-dressed young gentleman walking briskly and eating into a paper bag around the mall, that's probably me and that's probably a Jamaican beef pattie. Walking around and eating out of a paper bag doesn't appeal to most people, so the Megamall branch did away with this indignity by offering you chairs and tables so it can be clear to everyone else in the basement area what it is that you're eating. After a day of walking around and looking funky-fresh, it's a relief to just sit down and bite into a piping hot pastry of soft, salty beefness. They also sell fruit shakes, which is fine, but you may be better off getting it somewhere else in the food court. Buy the shake first before you get a seat with the Jamaican beef pattie. It deserves your full attention. I don't think people understand the value of the Jamaican pattie as a foodstuff. It is life-changing. It changed my life. It can change yours.

The other concessionaires had very long lines, and being hungry, I was forced to buy. Oh happy circumstance that brought me to you. The cheesy beef pattie is exactly that. Beef with melted cheese in piping hot puff pastry. Its utter magic. I immediately flashed back to all those times I passed by the Jamaican Pattie shop at the Ayala MRT Station and casually ignored it. How could I have missed this? Each bite brought a smile to my face. And then I bought one in Megamall, where they have a proper store. Not only was it a lot cheaper than the one at the Araneta Coliseum, but they also had other menu items not available at the stalls. Today, it is still one of my go-to snacks whenever I go to a mall. And I continue to enjoy every bite of it.

It's feels so good to be able to breeze-through shopping without much hustle-and-bustle! There are not many shoppers during weekdays. But, the day you should avoid is Sundays especially when there is Sunrise Sale. Maraming pwedeng bilhan around our area pero lumulusob talaga kami at Shopwise in Libis para mamili. Why oh why? 1. It's complete! Meron din silang appliances, baby section, home & living area? (hindi raw ako sure! Kaloka! Hahaha! Basta yung meron mga furnitures, bed sheets, pillows, etc.) Usually may discount sila dito and I got my duvet from 2K, P900 na lang siya ate girl! Fresh yung meat! Trivia about me (review talaga ng buhay ko to eh hahaha): I rarely cook. STAGE DAUGHTER EH HAHAHA) 3. SABAY ABOT NG DAMIT SA CASHIER HAHAHA #Para-paraan 4. Promos! They have promos maya't maya na I think normal naman sa mga supermarkets. I suggest you get yung Shopwise Wise Card for Loyalty Points tapos x10 yung points mo when you shop during Wednesdays! (or 1st Wednesday lang ata ng month? We usually go ng 1st Wednesday kasi para sure!) I believe (Pang-Miss U yung ending ko wag ka girl) na grocery shopping should be fun at mas masaya kung sama-sama pa kayo mamili ng family! Yeyyy! Having Shopwise around, I always look forward sa next grocery time namin (para makadekwat ulit ako ng damit yun talaga eh hahaha). P.S. Char!

I happened to pass by this tiny Indian grocer in Paseo de Magallanes called Incredible India Food Depot, and it is packed floor to ceiling with food--spices, canned vegetables, curious-looking sugary Indian snacks, several types of dals and legumes, chutneys and preserves, and even Maggi's Indian version of instant noodles called "Multi Grainz" which claims to be healthier (it was a bit bland, if you're wondering, but definitely tastes of Indian spices). They also have ready to eat and frozen samosas, breads, and spring rolls, if you want a quick Indian food fix. I usually frequent Indian grocers for raw ingredients because they're usually more affordable than some large supermarkets, AND you can buy some of these in bulk. Since I'm vegan, some of us need a constant supply of chickpea flour (called besan, which can be purchased here really cheap in a hefty-sized bag), affordable TVP (textured vegetable protein), dals, spices, and the fairy dust of vegan cuisine, kala namak, or black Indian salt that has a distinct, egg-y flavor.

If you actually want to spend less on food, there are SO MUCH options at the food kiosks outside of Robinson's Supermarket. Even for vegetarians and vegans! I was really intrigued by this beautiful fresh lumpia being sold at one of the kiosks. And, it's not at all your usual Chinese-style fresh lumpia with the shredded carrots and garlicky sauce, but rather imagine a fresh and fruity veggie salad nicely wrapped in a fresh lumpia wrapper. It was actually a very pretty sight that you wouldn't expect that it was from a humble food kiosk. It looked AND tasted expensive--it had grapes, mangoes, nuts... YUM. And it was what like... Php 60? They also have a lot of other vegetable and fruit options here. There's a salad bar (Robinson's Supermarkets have the best ones among supermarkets, in my opinion), a Mongolian rice box station with a great selection of veggies (they have mushrooms!), fresh fruit juices, the usual turon, kamote, kakanin snacks, and cheap Pinoy ulam (they had munggo when I was there). You can just buy food here and eat it at the food court as well. Easy peasy!

I love that they have an aisle just full of local products and right next to that is a rack of imported goods--it's funny and it also makes you want to buy stuff! I also like that even at the less populated corner of the grocery near check-out, it doesn't feel sad or dismal, even though the counters can fill up. They have a lot of other stalls of interest right at the grocery too, like their pharmacy, liquor stands, a Pick & Mix, a flower booth, and the more important salad and fruit bar!

I would have given a 5 stars but on paying at the cashier they did not accept my Chase Visa card. We were previously at Landmark and Fishers Mall a day or two ago, and they both accepted my Chase visa debit card. It was a good thing I had cash. Then we decided to have merienda at their cafe and on paying our bill my sister gave her senior card, and my wife and I gave our Nevada ID to show our age. Our IDs were not accepted either. We told them that our IDs have been good at every dining establishment we've been to but they still declined. I realize now that it is a company policy and the employees have nothing to do with this decision. It is just sad that they prefer to alienate their old customers who are balikbayans now. What's good though is that the food remains unchanged as well since I first tried it. I was also shocked at how cheap our bill was considering we were four in the group who split a plate of sisig, beef steak and crispy pork! Their sisig is still good and it's very evident that there's some liver thrown in there. While I am not a huge fan of anything with liver, this one I really didn't mind. The size was also great for sharing and it was the crispy kind of sisig. Our next order which I really liked was the crispy pork. It was deep fried to perfection and the cubed pork is pretty large and came with a soy sauce with kamatis and onion dipping sauce that tasted really good. Even the skin was fried to a crisp, so I think the name of the dish really speaks for itself - crispy pork. Another sizzling plate we ordered was the beef steak - this was okay tasting, the beef was tender. We had settled to get this as there was no more tanigue steak left as we went pretty late and maybe the mad dinner rush beat us to it.
