A friend of mine got me into Ayurvedic treatments when I was going through a phase of stress and insomnia. During this time, I had many extra projects on top of my regular job that I had trouble sleeping and was very stressed out. The feeling of having to try to function due to lack of sleep and anxiety is probably one of the most tiring experiences I've ever had to go through and I saw that it was taking a toll on not only my physical and mental health, but as well my actual mood. I would lose my appetite and eat irregularly so I would compensate by stress eating or binge drinking. Its a very surreal and different feeling from the usual Shiatsu or Swedish massages we would normally have here in Manila, but trust me when I tell you that you will feel 500% better! The experience begins with an "interview" where they ask you about your lifestyle and symptoms. They then mix you a special oil formula they they would use during your treatment. There is a lot of balance during the massage and you have two therapists working on your body simultaneously. You finish refreshed and super oily but there is a facility to take a refreshing shower. After your treatment you are completely relaxed and you let the "medicine" from the oils absorb into your skin. Its a bit pricy but definitely worth investing.
