We were staying across the street at the Surfing Turtle Inn and stopped in on our first morning because we needed a quick breakfast and coffee before our El Yunque excursion. The staff immediately stood out for their kindness and attentiveness. When they noticed we were in a hurry, they went above and beyond to get our order ready quickly without sacrificing quality.
My husband ordered a cortadito and coffee cake, and I asked for an everything bagel with cream cheese, even though it wasn't on the menu. The staff was incredibly accommodating and happily made it for me. It was phenomenal. The bagel was perfectly toasted, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and honestly one of the best bagels I've ever had. The coffee cake was moist, light, and not overly sweet.
The next morning, we considered trying somewhere new, but we kept talking about Coffee Therapy and found ourselves heading right back. Once again, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service.
This time, I ordered the avocado bagel with vegetables, and my husband got the Full Morning Therapy breakfast with French toast and eggs. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. In fact, the moment I finished my meal, I wanted another one, but my stomach told me otherwise! I enjoyed a latte while my husband happily ordered another cortadito.
The food, coffee, and service were exceptional both times we visited. It has been one of the best breakfast experiences we've had in a long time. If you're in Luquillo, Coffee Therapy is an absolute must-visit. We will be thinking about those breakfasts long after our trip is over.
