Was a completely horrible experience dealing with these people. Being arrested is never a fun experience and they were good enough to come get me out (since they knew my parents). Now I'm not a trouble making kind of girl okay the charge I had was driving without a license and I had missed court once..... I admit my wrongdoing there but honestly, it was a traffic violation and I was not under the influence of any alcohol or substance of any kind and it was not a violent crime in any way.... When I was arrested I was extremely cooperative and as far as the police involved everyone was very polite and nice to me since I was with them. I had a death in my family and missed court again.... Just a good run of bad luck on my part and I take full responsibility for my actions... I was in the wrong and had been in contact with my attorney and was working on getting here (as I live a few towns away) to straighten everything out. It turns out that these unprofessional people were staking out my mother's house waiting for me. This was a $1200 bond....1200 not 12000 or anything and over running a freaking stop sign and I had only missed court 2 days prior not like I ran for months and was actively hiding from these people.... I came to my mom's and here they come with red lights pointed at me which I assumed were guns at that moment and was terrified.... I put my hands up (I was crouched down getting my phone out of my purse when they came around the corner so I just stayed where I was because I didn't know who they were and thought they were going to shoot me.... It had to be obvious I wasn't running anyplace but this 6 foot 8 or 9 man who had to be 250lbs at least (I'm 5foot 7 and weigh about 115) jerks me up off the porch and was very rough and very rude ..... You would have thought it was Tony Montana or someone seriously important they were after. And even after I was cuffed and it was a fact I was complying and I was in their custody he was still treating me that way. I don't have an issue with going to jail that night because I was in the wrong and I had to get it squared away.... My plan was going to be turning myself in within the next day or 2 anyways because my lawyer had advised me to do so....but the way they went about it and the manner that I was treated in was extremely unnecessary and uncalled for. If I was being belligerent or I would have been on the run for a significant amount of time, in trouble for a violent offence or even if I owed like thousands and thousands of dollars I would get it but NONE of that was the case and I think they were extremely ridiculous. There were 6 people killed in my mom's town that same weekend but give it up for these hardcore Dog wannabes! They got a major stopsign running criminal off the streets!
