We arrive with a beautiful garden, outdoor cozy, dining area and fire up grill. She also made sure that my mother knew that her dish was a smaller serving which my mom actually didn't even finish. The portion was easily enough for two. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly, sitting in a smoky, slightly spicy sauce in a traditional volcanic stone bowl. Absolutely delicious and one of those dishes you keep talking about long after the meal ends- and much to my travel companions dismay, I talked about it for many days after... Even though we were completely stuffed, I had already seen photos of the flan and could not skip it. We ordered that along with churros to share among four people. Do yourself a favor and skip the churros-- The towering flan is the star. Everyone at the table agreed it was the best we have ever had.
