The steak I ordered was cooked rare, just the way I asked. However, it seemed a little over seasoned. I had a glass of Syrah with the main meal which worked well. My sister ordered a seasoned chicken dish. Again, it tasted a little bit over seasoned. Both of our salads were well made with fresh greens and creamy dressings. For desert, we split a Crème brûlée. It surprised me that the dessert portion was tiny. The prices were reasonable considering it is a country club. As far as Peoria goes, dining at CCP is 4/5 stars. After living in Chicago for 3 years, this dining experience leaves something to be desired.

I noticed a large group came in and she was in the other room taking down their orders and darting around.
