My understanding is that these sculptures are for sale so they are not always the same ones, but I guess that might make it an ongoing adventure to visit This is mainly a walking trail and picnic spot They have a wonderful covered area with many picnic tables, which would be good for a gathering There are also bathrooms here which I did not use, but looked very nice from the outside You can probably get through the whole thing in about 15 to 20 minutes and there's even a trail that leads to the beach with another sculpture there For what it is, I think it has everything that you could possibly want and I just kind of found it on accident which seems to be the pattern with a lot of the worthwhile things in this area !

She truly enjoyed the experience! They were SUPER nice throughout the entire time. From when we walked in the door, all 3 greeted us. I told them that I had reserved a session for my friend. They told us to feel free to walk around and look at their studio, and then walked us to the area of items that she could create. Great choices & great prices!!! I have been to a few of the events: one was the Central Neighborhood front porch concerts and treats- it was fun. The other event was as a volunteer (full disclosure) for their plein air paint out as part of Paint Grand Traverse. Oh, I think everyone should volunteer for this, but that's my love of the arts speaking. As more of a dreamer than a do-er, I'm pretty much in awe of those who *do.* Lastly, this evening I was here for the TC Ticker's 'Recess' event. I'd consider going to another of their events, the venues rotate. There were beverage tickets (imbibe if you don't have to work later, as I did) and yummy treats from Maxbauer's and Raduno. I guess I networked, but I consider it more a polishing/fine-tuning of extremely rusty social skills. I am a busy and introverted human, therefore I don't get out much, lol. But, when I do get out, it's because I have high expectations. And, this venue and event both proved themselves to be enjoyable.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I went in today to look for a new sewing…read moremachine. The shop staff and owner were great and so knowledgeable. I haven't sewing in forever and want to start again! I shared what I was looking for and Becky took her time showing me the sewing machines and their features (hands on). She went above and beyond answering my questions (even stayed open late for us) and made me feel comfortable in my decision. They offer free training and a discount cart for future purchase which I'll be using soon. Can't wait to also participate in the classes and open sewing sessions.
