A hip, cool young art gallery. Awesome place. This is an art gallery that exhibits works for sale. They also have a strong selection of modern artist in their database. The gallery space is small, but they space is well used. They work with allot of new artist and well respected artists. Typically they have young people working here, which i believe to be a mistake. The few time I have had question they usually can not answer my questions about the art or artists. They often have solo exhibits of artists. Usually kicked off by an evening opening, with the artist. They do serve beer and wine here, so openings have drinks associated with them. They also sell unique hand crafted toys. Typically priced for $100 -$500 for one piece. i have bought one oil painting here and some small memorabilia. keep in mind that this a gallery opposed to an art store, so if you buy something in an exhibit, you cant just take it home. So you have to come back and pick it up after the exhibit is over.

Lots of cool elements in an amazing space filled with incredible art

NOT for kids. Some of the artwork is sick & disturbing, some violent content. Gave my children nightmares.

While the subjects were different people, the artwork had such a similar style that it all began to blend together. I don't even think I took any pictures. I've never seen so many portraits in one museum before. It felt like room after room was filled with similar-style paintings, and after a while, it became repetitive and honestly exhausting. I found myself rushing through many of the galleries, and at one point I was so bored I started hiding from my daughter while she explored. Don't get me wrong--the artistry is incredible. The painting techniques, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are truly impressive. My only criticism is that the sheer number of similar portraits made the experience feel monotonous. By the time I reached exhibits featuring other cultures and artistic styles, I was already experiencing museum fatigue, which made it harder to fully appreciate those collections. A little more variety throughout the galleries would have made the overall experience much more engaging.

Several of my items, specifically a collection of beautiful figurines, were never listed for auction. Despite sending five emails inquiring about their status, it took Quinn's team five days to respond. When I finally received a reply, I was informed that the items were deemed "not auctionable" and had already been donated. Per the standard consignment terms, items are only to be donated if they fail to sell at auction, not prior to being listed. As the bailee of my property, your business is legally responsible for the care, custody, and control of these items. Donating them before the auction process was completed constitutes a clear breach of this responsibility. Furthermore, it took an additional three to four weeks to receive payment for the items that did successfully sell. Given these poor business practices, you got 1 star too many.

Great for lovers, art lovers, stoners, psychonauts, futurists, new media makers, techno-creatives,…read morechildren, and bored pandas. This is a review for the DC location but Artechouse ("home for innovative experiential art") has venues with immersive digital installations in NYC and Houston as well. The exhibits change periodically - you might remember the Van Gogh one from a few years ago which was heavily marketed. We came here during cherry blossom season and the "Blooming Wonders" exhibit paid tribute to that theme. The main room that you experience upon entering is the most awe-inducing. The visuals are very trippy and psychedelic. Even my toddler lied down on the floor to space out at the display looking stoned lol. (Free for under 4!) There are a couple of side rooms/halls with interactive displays and exhibits exploring the relationship between nature, art, and technology. There wasn't too much to see but the artwork is beautiful, intelligent, and something I would've loved had I stumbled upon them in a museum or gallery. But that's the thing - I'd be less "oh that's it?" if this were *AN* installation in a museum rather than *THE ONLY* event in the space. Great place for a date though. There's a bar and they offer a date night package. We spent 45 min here but an hour is more than enough time to explore everything. 3 stars for the experience, 5 for the digital art, so 4 stars overall.

This immersive experience was compromised of one "main room" and 3 "side rooms". Although the 5-10 minute shows were cool the first time, every time you saw them more made the experience less unbelievable. Some of the interactive components of the side rooms were broken when I went, so it was disappointing to see. The price... one word: sheesh. Even though the experience itself was underwhelming, the steep price confirms my belief that I will not be going back. I really hope Artechouse can re-evaluate its services and price in hopes they can attract a larger crowd next time they re-open.
