My package arrived in just a couple days. I received text messages telling me, they received my order and then telling me it had shipped. When I opened my package, it had a hand written note, thanking me for supporting a small business. This is the second business who has done that for me, this month. Full disclosure: I haven't yet visited the Your Friend's Apartment storefront on Cherokee Street…read more(I'll update the review when I do), but I spent so much time lingering at their booth at their Vintage Market event this past weekend that I can't imagine the joys of experiencing an entire shop dedicated to their aesthetic. That being said, my current review is solely for their clothing selection and the event! I'm not an expert on the vintage curation process, so perhaps I'm biased with my five-star review in that I loved their selection. The European sophistication/sharp business casual/minimalist aesthetic is completely my style, and I had a hard time refraining from purchasing a brand new trench coat, tailored blazer, or wide-leg trousers. I feel like this is a gem in St. Louis, because from my experiences vintage shopping here, it's hard to find stores that aren't catered to the quirky/retro/Y2k aesthetic; this store is for shoppers who prefer to keep it simple and classy, but appreciate adding their own touch. As far as the event goes, I thoroughly enjoyed the DJ and open cocktail/mocktail bar concept. It was so great to get exposure to other great vintage shops in the area!
