Burlington, this new process of your store being like Tj max is awful!!! I was once's employed by Burlington and that was over 30 years ago 1. The store was clean 2. The store was departmentalized 3. You could actually find things 4. Now like digging through a thrift store 5. Had a baby department like no other 6. Home goods were Grade A 7. Prices were almost unbeatable 8. Some employees wow how dare u bother them 9. 10/20/2025 I visited Burlington in st.charles mo. As 3 of were walking in an employee was assembling new shelving did not wait til we walked by and just about hit me in the head with that metal shelf !! and man the disgusting look on her face. Unfortunately, everytime I go here my experience worsens. I use to love to shop here qith their discounted prices, but not so much anymore. It's impossible to 6 the correct sizes because the racks have all different sizes all over the place. Also they had the fitting room completely closed off yesterday, which made it impossible to try on the few things I did find. Thought about hiding in a corner somewhere but then realized they probably have cameras everywhere. I checked out their bedding section this time and the prices were great, but it's waa poorly stocked. Sadly I left with nothing. :( read more

I didn't intend to go here specifically, but I was in the area and needed some new items so I stopped in. The area is kind of shady, but I've never had any issues in this location. I went in and the worker announced that there weren't any more carts. I never understand stores that don't have enough carts. If you want people to spend money in your stores, not having a cart drastically cuts down how much I might buy. They could do better with their selection of plus-sized items and clothes that are more true to size. The items seemed to be smaller than the size they were tagged as but the prices were good, with most shirts and pants being between $10.99 and $14.99. I would not recommend buying the multipack underwear. It is cheap, no elastic and rolls right on down the bum. I was so disappointed. Patience is what you need to shop here. If you have them, chances are you will find a good bargain or two. I came to BCF looking for a specific item, which they did not have, but I still walked out with several new items at a bargain price. Whenever I am in a discount store like this, I always check out the pet section. My dogs have more dog bowls, beds, collars and leashes then they actually need, but I spoil them. Today at BCF, I didn't find any bowls or such, but they had a nice selection of Scoop Bags aka poop bags. They had the colorful biodegradable ones at a price cheaper then any of the local doggie boutiques. This was a major find for me, since I am a conscientious dog walker and scoop the poop. Another department I always check out of course is the mens fashion department. This was a nightmare. The only positive things was that the racks were not packed as tight as they are at Marshall's. Another positive thing is they had the jeans separated from all the other types of pants which made it easy to browse. From the the brief time I looked, the prices and name brands seemed good. When I need a new pair of jeans, I may pop back in to take a closer look. The best bargain I found was colorful socks. I love bright colored socks and BCF had them on sale 5 pairs for $9.99. What a deal - I normally pay that for one pair of socks at The Rack. The sign on the table said, "Brag About It", so I am. I got 5 pairs of amazing sock for only $9.99 and this sock-aholic is one happy shopper. The cashier at check out was friendly and wrapped the sale up quickly. BCF is out of my way, but knowing the savings on got on scoop bags and socks, I may be back and put up with the hot mess and disorganization. Fashion snobs are turning their nose up at this review, but I don't mind. There is one giant reason you need to go to Burlington Coat Factory on Christy: BOOTS. If you're like me and you love fashion but don't make millions, you have to go here for the boots! That's all I'd recommend shopping for (the only other thing I've ever picked up is leggings) but you will walk out with a few different pairs you'll wear all season long. The shoe department as a whole is a mess - by mess I mean shoe boxes and shoes all over the floor. You might even have to kick your way to the boots section there is so much crap on the ground. I find it hard to believe that the staff can't keep control of the area... maybe they have a shoe-slangin' monster that lives there... I'm not sure. Once you find the boots, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Now don't go expecting designer items, but do expect to find pairs ranging from dressy to casual, in all different colors. Last week I wore a Ralph Lauren sweater dress with a $25 pair of brown boots from Burlington, and I'm convinced they looked better than most other expensive brown boots I've seen lately. AVOID this location at all cost! The do not like anyone to be in the store within an hour of closing! (No matter what) I have never been so disgusted with customer service representatives in my life. (I too work in customer service and would never treat someone the way they treat their customers) I've been to this location about 4 times. This is the second time that my boyfriend and I were treated as if we were causing a problem by coming into the store to make a QUICK purchase. (As in not shopping around. We came in & got exactly what we came for and went straight to the register) The ladies up front always have something smart to say, as if it's an inconvenience to them, to actually do their job, at a place they chose to work at. I won't go into the word for word details, but just know what to expect before walking into this location. Burlington Coat Factory used to be my go to place when I had a couple of bucks in my pocket and a last minute desire for an inexpensive addition to that nights ensemble. Those days are GONE! The place has always been in disarray, but these days this store is just a HOT MESS. I'd rather spend an hour bustling through the $3 rack at Goodwill than spend hours of frustration tumbling through racks and racks where NOTHING is where it should be. In addition, if you get to the register and your item doesn't have a price tag, GOOD LUCK getting anyone to look you in the eye to discuss getting the problem resolved, interrupt their conversation with their peers behind the register, or help get the prices/tag info in under 15 minutes. I don't know how many times I have walked out without the merchandise I had planned to purchase out of sheer frustration. Customer service at this store stinks. read more

Eh. Not the best Burlington I've been to. It did have some finds, just not a tremendous amount. The coat selection was scanty - for Burlington COAT factory, that was odd for me. And there were hardly any cute shoes in my 7.5. The handbags are all nice, though and although it took a while to get checked out, the cashier was nice as well. read more

I give a four cause the workers have never been a problem for me finding stuff has been a pain mainly when it comes to my husband and my son. but i always find away. i do notice some problems when im there or looking threw the reviews. the workers do their best im sure the main area that i notice gets messy is the toy area, but that is anywhere when its retail with toys it happens i worked at family dollar and many kids go nuts. even adults so with it being a bigger store somethings are hard to keep up when you are busy unloading things all the time helping customers find things etc they are good folks they just need more things of all sizes and just have someone not busy go up and down the areas of the store and throw anything that doesnt belong in to a cart so it can go in the right place toys area is a hard one even if you put signs up kids are kids i know i have three. but the store isnt that bad all store have a problem or two its just how it is you cant just blame the workers customers make a mess all the time and the workers do keep up the best they but they cant just follow every customer around just to make sure nothing gets messed up they do what they can thats just my review until they prove me other wise. read more

The management of this shop is very very poor. The guy who has to unlock a cart so that it can be taken outside to the car parking uses language such as you have enough hands to carry the things. When I tried to complain about the same to the manager of the shop she said I am talking roughly to her. Have gone to many Burlington. This one the worst only due to the management if the shop. Wide variety of designer clothes. Was able to find some sweet Michael Kors pants. The employees were a bit stand offish and rude but I credit that to the type of clientele that Burlington caters to. Overall great experience though and I would highly recommend this Burlington to friends. read more
