First, Liz asked us what we would be wearing and, then, what types of designs we had in mind. She also gave specific and useful advice about how to prepare our skin for the painting. On the day of her appointment, Liz arrived on time and armed with a makeup case of deeply saturated pigments, glitter, and stick-on gems. She also had printed out enlarged photos of the designs we liked and discussed her thoughts about the color palette based on our intended costumes and coloring. And then she went to work. In one of her other creative lives, Liz is a figurative painter and it shows in her gentle, but effective brushstrokes in creating flowers, vines, and other decorative figures. Her finished work on me was a knockout, and based on classic Mexican majolica. My partner's design was equally stunning, as well as witty. Liz fixed both designs with a spray fixative, which was easy to wear but tough enough to keep the design in place and intact for eight hours. And during that time we received tons of compliments for Liz's incredible work. I can't recommend her highly enough!

The company then tried to gaslight me that this was their most popular entertainer when he was so awful, I had legitimately feared that he was an imposter and that the real performer had called in sick. The company also blamed my dissatisfaction on me saying that we did play games as promised without acknowledging that it took me and my adult sisters to run the show to cover for this performer's inadequacy. I wasn't going to leave a bad review because I had assumed that the company would take responsibility for their egregious deficit. Their defensive response prompted me to be honest in a review platform.

I only had 2 weeks from the moment I called them, to our event. Lili answered the phone every time I called, and personally responded to every request I had within hours. I gave her pinterest photos of our event vibe & what we were going for, and asked her for her expertise to help us put together a balloon color scheme. We were less than a week from the event, when I had an additional balloon idea and wanted her opinion on whether it would look good/what kind of balloons. So she said she take my idea and research balloons that could bring it to life! She soon found that the balloons I wanted weren't available, but she said she could improvise and bring multiple options on the day of the event - to see what would look best. They showed up even earlier than promised, had already hung the majority of the balloon garland, AND by the time they were finished with setup, I came out to the final set up event space, and they took full initiative to create the perfect balloon wording that exceeded by my last minute vision!! I wanted to make my daughter's first birthday as special as possible and Nicholle understood my vision 1000%! I contacted other vendors but some were priced higher, some didn't understand how important the right color was to the theme. Sculpted Air is a new business and didn't have any reviews but I'm glad I made the right choice and chose them. Nicholle is professional and great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date. She's also a new mom to a baby and understands how special this was for me and did her absolute best on the project. I asked for a Berry theme and she even made paper machê strawberries to add to the ballon arch. My guests all commented on how real the strawberries looked. Most backdrops are made of flimsy materials but Nicholle made a custom wood arch for my party. She really put her heart into it and it shows! I am looking forward to seeing Nicholle's small business thrive and become successful! She absolutely deserves it!
