Very disappointed. Had hoped to be in a class with at least intermediate dancers but what Arthur Murray callsintermediate and I would call rank beginner. A waste of time and money. Class is only 45 minutes I am going to the Davidsonville dance club for Lessons now. It offers a course of eight week lessons for $100. For that you get two hours of instruction Weekly on two different dances. Plenty of parking and highest quality of instructors. read more

My fiancée and I went here to get first-dance lessons. This was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. The staff is fantastic - special thanks to Kaiti for being a fabulous teacher - and made the whole experience so much fun. They also sent us a very thoughtful card of well wishes. Purchased a Groupon so that myself, my fiance and mom and dad could practice our dance moves for my upcoming wedding. Everything was fine until it came to what was apparently our last session. Paul Pietrzak was SUPER RUDE about how we were out of sessions and got mean and nasty about it. We were supposed to have one more group session but he rudely informed us that we had used all of our lessons up (they invited us to stay for an informal group class and i guess that counted as our last lesson). It's a shame because the girl dance instructors were great and we would have considered purchasing more lessons but after the way I was spoken to by Paul, I would never return or recommend to family or friends. Still gives me chills thinking of the way he spoke to me. read more

The instructor was nice and the dancing was fun, but you guys are way over priced! It's like only the wealthy can enjoy dancing with you! A bit of an elitist club, you think? I will seek ballroom instruction elsewhere. read more

My wife and I have been taking lessons since nearly a year before our wedding last year. We enjoyed learning our first dance which stunned our wedding guests. Especially since I am not the type to be the first one on the dance floor, so I needed the extra time to learn. My husband and I were empty nesters and wanted to find something different to do now that we had time. We LOVED the studio and all the instructors (Natalie is the BEST!!). My husband hated to dance prior to going but they made the steps easy to follow and in no time he felt comfortable. We took lessons for about a year before we ended up moving overseas otherwise we'd still be there. I highly recommend. I have been taking lessons for just over a year now, and I absolutely love it! The instructors are kind and caring and actually take the time to get to know their students. I've taken part in both the group and private lessons and have enjoyed both immensely. They also have open dance parties for the students each week and these are a great way to socialize and practice your newly learned skills. Just over three years ago I wanted to do something I had never done before but always wanted to do. That was dancing and becoming a dancer. So I walked into the Arthur Murray studio. After three years of lessons, group classes, group parties and dance events I am actually dancing waltz, tango, fox trot, bolero, Argentine tango, salsa, Viennese Waltz and many, many more dances. It still seems so unreal to me. But none of this would be possible without the fabulous staff and instructors (Tom, Paul, Alon, Jacki, et al) at Arthur Murray. The time and patience they invest in each of their students is amazing. Their passion for dance and being willing to pass it on to others is very contagious. And, they are all very warm and welcoming and make you feel like part of the team the minute you walk in the door. Three things stand out for me at Arthur Murray Arnold: the genuine friendliness and welcoming attitude of the instructors and staff, their top notch professionalism, and the very fine studio. We count many of our friends among the other students. Attending lessons, weekly parties, and the annual Balls (one starts in an hour) bring us untold fun.
