He got a new part ordered for our heat pump and answered all our questions. The price for the late night service call was reasonable and so worth it to keep our kids warm on such a cold night. We knew, at that time, that our Heating and Cooling system was 17 years old and would need to be replaced even though the home inspector and the company maintaining it assured us that it was good for years. We started having trouble with it and looked for a Trane Dealer in this area. Because of Tom's and Trane's reputations, we chose American Heating and Cooling. Tom was extremely helpful in guiding us to a heat pump, air handler and smart thermostat, as well as, a filtration system with UV light that would fit our home and be extremely efficient but, at the same time, was not overkill and overpriced. Between the time we ordered the system and its delivery from the factory in the United States, we started having more trouble with our old system. Tom came out the day we called him, fixed the system and kept us cool in the extreme heat we were having at the time. Tom and his crew did an excellent job installing the new system. They were timely, efficient and very considerate of us and our home. During the install they had to tie into our old duct work. I tried to put a thermostat in and I didn't get the screws and wires in tight. It was only $85.00 for the assessment, for me to realize I need to leave it to the pros. I will use them again. My mom previously used them to change her gas to an electric furnace. I called yesterday, and they were here this morning. I called other places they wanted anywhere from 100 - 210.00 just to do an assessment and they said that was per hour. I appreciate Quality Heating and Air. Thanks a million.

I have just moved my mobile home from Lawrence KS to Lebanon MO and needed the furnace converted…read morefrom gas to liquid propane and then my AC hooked up to my home, put up on a pedestal to keep the weedeater from damaging the unit and filling it up with coolant. I had called numerous HVAC companies in the area and most wouldn't work on mobile homes. Of those that would I got the best bid from Josh and then each of the jobs came in at $50 less than what Josh said they would. Alec was very knowledgeable about our unit and we appreciate his patience. Highly recommend using Tom's and ask for Alec for great customer service.
