Megan Rogers is not a good attorney nor even a trustworthy one. In my opinion and likely many other clients opinions as well, she is basically a fraud and a very dishonest person. She took several thousand dollars (over 3k) as a retainer from me and never followed up, didn't do any work, only showed up for one short 30 minute of what was to be an hours' scheduled meeting, sent bogus made up billing statements for work not done, and then made excuses saying that she was "going through a rough divorce and custody battle with her ex" and "couldn't pay her rent so she needed the money!"... . She said that she needed my money to help with those costs and never returned my funds! Meanwhile she was taking her daughter to pony riding instruction! At the time she said that she was a family law attorney but now it seems she has gone into elder, estate, wills and probates! I can't recommend her and I'm surprised that she's even licensed to practice! Do not make a mistake like I did by trusting her! She still owes me over three thousand dollars! Her practice was a total farce! That was my experience. I would not be surprised if all the better reviews here were written by her friends! I truly cannot imagine that she would be competent to handle any sort of real legal work. Beware!

We were leaving our estate to recognized charities and so asked for time to contact them as to the specific wording of the bequest. Once we had collected that information we forwarded it to the legal assistant to draft the documents. The first draft completely ignored the charities required wording. Second one was produced weeks later, still not accurate and missing pertinent information on the people selected for our Powers of Attorney, This required a phone consultation with a staff attorney. Another draft was produced with minor typos. Two months later we were able to sign the documents. We did not expect to have to proof read all the documents to be sure they were using the correct legal designations or to check for omissions and simple typos. We found the office to be unprofessional in its' work product and timeliness of producing documents (over two months from start to finish).
