At the time she said that she was a family law attorney but now it seems she has gone into elder, estate, wills and probates! I can't recommend her and I'm surprised that she's even licensed to practice! Do not make a mistake like I did by trusting her! She still owes me over three thousand dollars! There's no way they're all legit... especially now that I've seen these ones that line up with my experience. I guess they haven't paid off robots to post on Yelp yet. I could NOT have had a worse experience with them. They took my money, did the bare minimum, claimed they did work that I did myself the second I mentioned wanting to leave. They removed my access to the pages and pages worth of discovery responses and documents that I did. The one actual meeting I had with them I had to ask if the paralegal had even gone over my case before we met and if she knew the answers for anything I needed to go over. I would ask a question and she would literally read out loud what the discovery question was, but not explain anything about it. The only time he was willing to speak with me was during the 30 minute consult, which he cut short to ten minutes, saying I had a good case. Regardless of my requests to speak with him instead of his assistant, he was MIA. They'll make you feel like a criminal, take your money, and be the least empathetic people I've ever talked to. Crazy way to treat someone paying you upwards of $18k. Stay away from him and especially his assistant Tammy.

The hardest part of the process is knowing it's time to get a divorce. Typically the second hardest is finding the best lawyer to represent you. Chris came highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommended and I couldn't be happier. From our very first phone call, I knew I had made the right decision. I immediately felt relaxed; as if I was speaking to a best friend. Chris explained the process in such a way that was easy to understand, allowed me to ask questions (even the truly dumb ones), and made me feel at ease. Chris was sympathetic to my situation, built up my confidence, and made sure that any decision made was done so in partnership with his knowledge and advice. I never felt like I was being pushed one way or the other into a decision I wasn't comfortable with; I never EVER felt as if I was just a paycheck to him - I was a person first, and his client second. He was there when I needed reassurance or when I was scared. Jackie was there to answer questions and was swift to reply. I can't say enough about the whole experience. He initially told me he could ask for a dismissal since it was first violation in 6 years. I was told I received a deferral and that the ticket would be dismissed after. But then I was advised that I need to still enter a plea on it and claim nolo. Had I known that I needed to use up my nolo plea, I would have just gone to court and done that myself and gotten zero points. I didn't need to pay an attorney to do something I could have done for myself. I eventually had to go down to the court house in person to sort it out without the attorney, they told me I didn't need to make a plea. Which was even more confusing. I think if he just took 10 minutes to explain everything clearly it would have made this entire experience really different. The professionalism was lacking and the outcome left a lot to be desired. I also learned because they only take Zelle that there is no way to request a refund or dispute service like with a card payment so there is little recourse for clients if anything were to go south.
