They have a build a bear type of section that you can customize to you preference. They also had a coffee bar that is can get a quick drink. They have a little grocery section if you want some snacks or beverages. I grabbed some water and sodas for me and my daughter. Prices reminded me of 7 eleven so expect to pay a little more. It was very convenient since it was close by.

The grocery section is pretty small but had everything I was looking for - sliced bread, fruit, vegetables, and milk. The price is roughly 2 times what you would expect to pay at Food Lion though - $5 for half a gallon of milk, $5 for a loaf of bread, etc. There's also an assortment of souvenirs if you're interested in that kind of thing, including a mini Build a Bear type machine (where you stuff the animal with cotton and pick out an outfit). Although we didn't go fishing at Massanutten, we did hear that you can buy fishing bait, a fishing license, and rent fishing gear here too. Apparently their lakes are stocked 8 times a year so there's always fish!

However she does not insist on helping if you don't desire help. You are free to wander around and enjoy. The staff also knows the inventory and is very helpful. As you turn you will see wonderful giant butterfly art installation on the outside of the building inviting you inside. The officials greeters are two well trained pups. Worth a trip.

Out-front there is a very nice gas fireplace with seats surrounding. I made a quick stop for coffee and to look at a some souvenirs. I already new the prices would be resort fees. Very convenient to the slopes, within walking distance. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I do recommend you make a stop if you get a chance.

They certainly carry a lot of different items. You can find lots of souvenirs here. It's a four season resort, but I like the ski related merchandise the most. Today I stopped in again with my son. We were here to zip line and rode the go karts. It was good they had cold bottled water and glass cokes for us to buy. These were enjoyed, and replenished our hydration. Good staff working. Always friendly and lots of parking as well.

I walked by this gift shop on the way from the courthouse in downtown Staunton and literally came…read moreright back. Everything in the window caught my eye. It's small inside, but jam-packed with a hundred unique musical novelties. Jewelry shaped like instruments, umbrellas with notes on them, bowties with piano keys, wine bottle holders made from actual piano keys, a small selection of vinyl records, books...one on how to tune a piano, CDs, etc... I can't remember it all, and it was quite overwhelming. I do know they didn't have a welcome mat, which is what I really wanted. I was told they'd hopefully have one by the holidays. So I'll be returning...also because it's where I travel for work. But if you're in Staunton, this shop is not to be missed. It's like a musical etsy conglomerate. Respect it.

They come to Staunton from all over the world and It is a great blessing to have them here to share their talent. While here, they are guided by the Institute's staff to better perform and to gain knowledge from complementing study. We have attended two or three performances and being surrounded by 50 or more stringed instruments, performed expertly, is a very special evening. It is a wonderful surprise that they are located in Staunton and not a large metropolitan area!
