They had some homemade fudge next to the till, yes it was an impulse buy but it tasted very good.

I'd give it another go, as it has been recommended to me by a few people that I work with and it seems to be a very popular cafe... there must be a reason and hopefully I will discover that reason next time around.

What a humble parsnip must dream of becoming... to be cooked into this exalted state of being! I particularly liked the cheese and leek as well as the wholegrain mustard mash. I tried a vegetarian pie with goat cheese our first night, then a more classic chicken pie the next. Both were magnificent and the portions absolutely giant! They also have both the traditional hot-water crust pies in addition to puff pastry, so it's a nice variety.
