There were so many wonderful things here and we both spent a lot of time browsing the store. The prices are similar to similar places-no better, no worse. Don't expect it to be large, it is only one in room, but they expect to have local artwork on the walls soon and might possibly consider expansion at some time in the future. For a little shop though it has some charming items and yes, it was hard for me to get out of the shop without buying something for myself. (I succumbed!) One of my favorite things about this shop is they are selling items made by local artisans. I love not only shopping local but supporting local people. Quilted items, maple syrup, jewelry etc. There is one issue, however, and that is parking. It is very limited but if you find the parking lot full then take advantage of on-street parking. Just don't park in spaces intended for nearby businesses. Not cool.

There is one place in Murfreesboro to get Mackinac fudge and I just might have a tasting at home. All of the artwork here and at the neighboring ice cream shop was fun to see and photograph. They also have a mini golf course, playground, and multiple photo opportunities. My husband and I had intended to go for half an hour and ended up staying two hours. Confused, I asked if I had called Flowers by Carla only to be answered once again with "house keeping" and laughter. The person then said "we are closed don't call back". I verified the number as it is programmed in my phone as I have been using them for 10+ years. A simple answer of, "Sorry, we are no longer taking orders for Valentines Day" would have sufficed.
