Marty really knows what he's doing. I procured an assortment of Kylie Minogue memorabilia related to her latest album "DISCO" - it's one infectious pop song after another; now she's the Queen of the Socially Distanced Dance Floor - and wanted to make a special presentation of it for my friend for his birthday. Marty knew exactly what background to use, including the proper acid-free matting and fade-safe glass. I never conceived of a darker background until he suggested it, and it made the signed photo that much sharper in the presentation. I tried to manage this on my own and I just couldn't manage, and I never would have accomplished such a presentation, nor one built to last through time. I really appreciate Marty's attention to detail. Furthermore, the turnaround was only about four days, making it ready just in time for my friend's birthday. He truly loves the piece. I had the same presentation made twice - one for my friend, and one for myself as well. With my own frames provided, the total cost was roughly 250 for both. I returned from a warzone in August where I traveled to the Russian-Ukrainian frontlines to spend time with my cousin Ivan, who has been bravely defending the sovereignty of Ukraine since Russia invaded her internationally recognized borders in February 2022 for the second time in the last decade. He was so happy to see me, he gave me his military chevron patch off his uniform as a thank you. I knew immediately I had to preserve this with the honor and dignity it deserved. We had a unique picture from vacation we wanted framed and were quoted a very high price at another (big box) store. After hearing good things about Artist Framer we brought it there, hoping they would have an idea about the best way to frame the picture and wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. I went in unsure of what look I wanted, and she spent almost an hour helping me decide between different frames and mats. She then helped me really rethink about our blended family photos, how to group pictures, bring out memories and make our house come alive. She is not simply a framer. She is an artist.
