You walk into the building, then go up a couple steps and then you're in the shop where you are surrounded by framed posters and prints of all kinds. You definitely get the sense that there are years of experience here and I felt good about giving them my business. The owner (whose name I unfortunately did not jot down) is always super friendly and optimistic about what he can do whether it's framing a print and tickets from an event (which is why I was there) or even making a 3D shadow box type frame. They are open to giving an estimate and if you don't go with them, no harm, no foul. Service is always great. I believe I spent about $40+ to frame an 11x17" print and a couple tickets from an event. When the glass broke and had to be replaced, they did it for about $25. Given they had to carefully remove broken glass I did not have an issue with the prices. If you need something framed, give L&M a try!

So when I needed to frame an oversized art piece I got from friend as housewarming gift, I knew exactly where to go. Old house with sign over porch, few private parking spots on a side street - and two wonderful ladies who running the shop and will help you with everything you need. I can be quite picky with finishes and profiles that I already have in mind, and they went above and beyond to make sure frame will support art and the glass - they even called manufacturer to find finish I requested in particular profile. 2 weeks later, I was picking artwork up - so familiar but looking so different all dressed up, with simple white matting border all around, and solid brushed metal frame... It looked spectacular - the warmth of the frame brought up the warm tones in otherwise black-n-white picture, and the moment that was captured came alive.
