I got to see myself fully styled with the dress of my dreams! And as a plus-size girly that meant a lot when I often ran into issues with some of my dream dresses not being in a sample size that I could really appreciate on MY body. She tends to over promise and not meet her deadlines. We were told 1 week turnaround for alternations for 2 pants, and it took 4 weeks. We also met some people at the shop with similar concerns. She's good at what she does, just note the timelines. Make sure you have plenty of time if you are thinking of buying a qipao for your wedding that need alterations or something similar. Note that she is planning to retire by 2026 and will close the shop.

Her energy, enthusiasm, and care was evident. She explained that I could pick in up the day after tomorrow. I just got my weighted blanket back today and it is SO clean. Sandra even packaged it in a complimentary plastic covering to keep it pristine. Moral of the story, this is the best cleaners. Would have been happy to pay extra to have this done correctly. I did explicitly tell them, "no new piercings". This is perhaps my fault and a learning experience - materials like leather should be brought to a shop that specializes in leather. However, I would have rather them simply refuse to work on this item than create new holes in the item. I am not asking for anything - I will simply have this redone at a leather specializing shop. I contacted her mid day on Friday and she was able to hem my pants before the end of her workday on Saturday. There was a rush fee added to the price of the hem, which was completely understandable. She was very friendly, and her prices are fair. The pants look great, too. She even does custom design and embroidery work. I will definitely keep her in mind for future sewing needs.
