So I did the terrible thing of trying on another dress after buying a dress and couldn't get it out of my head. In my defense (lol) my venue changed after I bought my dress and I no longer felt my purchased dress was the one. I was told that anything I bought unless it was a sample would not make it to me to be altered in time and I began to freak out. I'd been to try on wedding dresses at three different shops prior and this was by far the best experience I've had with the most quality gowns. The owner, London, was my actual stylist and she was so attentive and thorough. I sent her inspo photos prior to my appointment and she curated my looks to a tee. I got to see myself fully styled with the dress of my dreams! And as a plus-size girly that meant a lot when I often ran into issues with some of my dream dresses not being in a sample size that I could really appreciate on MY body. I found my wedding dress at the very first place I went -- and it ended up being the first and last stop. I tried on only four dresses, and London knew immediately which one was the one. From that moment on, the entire experience was incredible. London and her team customized my dress beautifully by adding sleeves, and they even created a veil just for me that was absolutely perfect. The seamstresses were wonderful, and after three alteration sessions, the dress fit flawlessly. As a large-busted woman, finding shapewear is usually stressful, but they helped me find the right pieces and even sewed my own shapewear directly into the dress -- which took so much stress off my shoulders. The quality of the gown was excellent, the team was responsive and accommodating by text, and rescheduling appointments was always easy. They even inspired my hairstyle, helping me think through my full bridal look. Most importantly, this was such a special, joyful experience to share with my mom. 10/10 experience! Even before I walked in the shop, their online quiz to help figure out your style is so detailed, when I arrived I could tell they listened! Their website clearly lists which designers they carry, so I did some research before hand to get some inspiration. I shared my Pinterest board with their team, they're available by text from the moment you book your appointment. Booking and rescheduling is easy online, and the team is very responsive. Everything was beautiful when I arrived! My name was on their welcome board, and my girls were greeted with champagne! I worked with co-owner Miriam, and stylist Ambe. They asked for my preferred playlist, explained their rental process, and got some info from me about my desired look and feel. We immediately tried in dresses, and I honestly loved every one I put on. They of course have veils, bouquets and jewelry to try and help see the full look (available for rent as well!). They carefully listened to all my yeses and no's, and were able to add things on to the dresses like belts or sleeves if necessary! I recently went to Laine London to pick up shoes I'd won through a contest they ran online. Since I pushed my wedding ceremony and reception to this fall, I decided it'd make sense to possibly try on new gowns. Since I bought my gown in 2019 at another store, I'd lost over 20 lbs. plus, I had a new vision in mind. I went online to book my appointment. It only cost $1 to book and the calendar was easy to navigate. I instantly received information on their sanitation and COVID protocols which was comforting. I invited my mom and best friend to come with me since the party size was limited to 3 additional people. That was fine. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Tiffany was the stylist that assisted me. She was personable and informative. Since I had somewhat of a vision in mind, she allowed my party to browse for gowns on our own. I thought that was nice instead of trying on gowns that didn't rock with my dream aesthetic. She helped me zip up which helped. As I tried on every gown, she'd text me the photo with price and details. She also texted me about a sale that was running to the end of the month. The first gown I tried on became *the one* for me. Tiffany found complementary accessories for me to review as well. I didn't rent my gown that day but came back later to do so. I inquired via text about a follow up appointment a few days later and they made an appointment for me for that evening. I tried on the gown one more time and booked it! Super excited! The entire process was super easy -- I'm sure I'm getting this gown for at least 50% off and it's beautiful. The overall experience was superb and id highly recommend others to rent their look, too! This bridal boutique is the best in Georgia! Everyone is so nice and it's such a welcoming environment! I had Kiki help me find the dress and I found it! They text you a confirmation code and tell you to send them your Pinterest board and do a little questionnaire to figure out how you want to look on your big day, omg I didn't even have to look around, they found the perfect dress for me! I had an awesome bridal appointment at Laine London today. They had a good selection of dresses and silhouettes from me to choose from. I was a little worried, bring plus size, that I wouldn't be able to find what I want. I was able to find a dress and I didn't feel rushed or pressured to purchase. I was the only bride in the salon, I got to choose the music I wanted to hear plus CHAMPAGNE. Overall i felt comfortable and I enjoyed the experience.
