They mostly offered books and learning tools, but every once in a while they would have purely fun items. One of them was a do-it-yourself henna kit. Naturally, a deal like that was too good to be true. The dye didn't stay and it looked cheap. I was crushed. It's been over a decade and I'm still scarred from the experience. All I wanted was the beautiful burnt sienna dye to fall elegantly across my arms, or legs, or hands, or back - the options were endless. So with the coaxing of my friends, I coughed up the $25 and got a decent-sized ethnic inspired tat across the length of my forearm. It was gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. It reminded me of Bulgaria and had me contemplating if I should get the real deal. Depending on the placement and how well you take care of it, the temporary tribal lasts anywhere from days to weeks. I had mine for about two weeks. It looked fresh and clean for the first and started to fade during the second. I could have easily kept it around for three weeks, but I was a little lazy.

Just had our wedding at the Historic Concord Exchange Friday the 11th. It was amazing! Karna was so…read moreincredible to work with! She did way more than I expected. I was stressed trying to get the last things done on the day of, and she was amazing and came in and helped me finish setting things up and helped organize people. She was willing to meet with us before, if I had any questions and was very responsive on emails. We found them on the Knot and WeddingWire and we actually just live up the street from the venue so we knew what it would look like inside. It's such a beautiful setting you hardly have to decorate it all. We obviously brought in some of our own touches, though. They have chair covers and other decorations that you can rent. Duke was the chef and did a great job. Food is obviously a little different on the day of with how much they have to make versus the tasting day, but we received positive comments from all of our guests. We actually rented some of the hotel rooms upstairs too, which anyone who stayed there was super excited about. It's nice to just be able to go right upstairs and not have to transfer to a hotel. The rooms are very unique and were fun to stay in. Serving staff and bartenders were on top of everything! I don't think I can say this enough...Karna is AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!! I hope someone else I know gets married there so I can go back to experience it from the guests side too :-)

They captured so…read moremany great photos of our day, and Kyle even captured an epic photo of my new husband dropping me during the dip at the end of our first dance - thanks to Kyle, my hubby will never live it down in our family! Kyle busted his butt fluffing and prepping my dress so it looked beautiful in all the wedding photos. Tracy is incredibly organized with setting up meetings, the engagement shoot, wedding day timeline, etc and was quick to respond to all our emails. She also shoots with Kyle and does a lot of the editing - including getting the extra redness and sweat off everyone's faces on what was a very hot, humid wedding day. They know how to keep things light and fun when it gets awkward being in front of a camera for several hours and are generally just very nice people. Perhaps most importantly, their calmness on wedding day helped me to stay relaxed and enjoy the day. These two know what they're doing, and they do it well.
