My husband and I were treated at the same time and finished simultaneously... So convenient and efficient They gladly requested our records from our previous dentist for USA. The officer staff was efficient and friendly. They had our appointments booked and cards filled out for us before we checked out at three end of the visit... Even offered other options if we wanted. Dr. Erikson was pleasant, efficient, gentle and was NOT trying to just make money. When I asked, he offered other services, but his focus was on his patients. The two hygienists we saw were effective in cleaning our teeth and pleasantly chatty as well. We were recommended by some friends who have sent him for years... We were not disappointed. They had me sign an estimate for the treatment plan for $102. When we were done & I checked out they told me I owed $169. I told them I was told $102 when checking in & her response was "that was just an estimate". I asked if anything changed from the treatment plan I had signed & there wasn't. If your "estimate" is off by more than 60% then you need to do better. That is unacceptable. I will no longer refer anyone here & I will seriously reconsider returning. What a shame after all these years. So disappointed in the customer service when we checked out & lack of explanation or accountability about their incorrect estimates.

During the initial consultation and examination, she took the time to thoroughly explain my options; and her gentle manner made me feel much more comfortable. However this was the most traumatic dental experience ever. It was uncomfortable, the dentist was completely not aware, and overall they just lacked compassion at FOCUS DENTISTRY.. EVEN AFTER 10K CASH. Years later I am still dealing with the issues this dentist caused. Ive had great dentist since, my current dentist has actually apologized for the work that focus has done. Essentially after 10k CASH they implanted two posts too close together that NO DENTIST OR SPECIALIST can finish the implant work. I have literally been to multiple dentist and without teeth in these places has caused my face to start to fall.. I have reached out to FOCUS DENTISTRY and not only were they no help... and lacked all compassion, they also were holding 3k extra payment that I had to force them to return. This dentist should BE BANNED. My new treatments are going to cost me upwards of 90k because of this person. I am warning you, do not go to FOCUS DENTISTRY. If it goes well that will be by chance. The office staff are strange and weirdly devoted to this dentist, they refuse to provide information etc. I have filed a complaint with the medical board. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. My Beverly Hills dentist was furious at me when I told him about my horrible experience. He wanted to call the dentists and chew them out but I told him to not bother, I learned my lesson. The only reason I didn't see my typical dentist is I didn't want to drive to BH but after this upsetting experience, I will drive into the city no problem.
