It was difficult thinking about a new barber but a friend of ours went there when he was on vacation with us and i decided to make an appointment, Now, several years later, I look back on the decision to do this and I totally satisfied. Chris bought the business from the Keith, who was a riot, and has improved the facility continuously and is the only person I would have cut my hair. Smart, interesting, a great family man and he is always pleasant and conversant on many subjects. I like his customers and I like being part of the ambience that Chris has made better than when I first made an appointment.

But upon entering, you find the appearance to be surprisingly attractive and professional. There is a good number of nail stations and another room was visible, which had 10 pedicure stations. It is very clean. However, the chemical odor is extremely strong. My migraine got very bad, and I became extremely nauseous. This would've been a deal-breaker for me, but I badly needed the service at the time, and couldn't wait. I decided to tough it out. The service was very friendly. I was offered a drink, and saw a cooler with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic options. I had a full set of acrylic nails removed and replaced. The job she did was excellent. My other really big complaint is the tipping system. They automatically add a tip to the charge for the service itself. I saw no signage as to this. I had no option to choose the amount of tip I felt the tech deserved. They add the tip as a percentage, because the tip amount on my receipt was not a round number. Overall, a good experience with two large complaints. You may or may not decide the nail quality and good customer service to be worth the overwhelming odor and the inability to make your own tipping decision.

Metal folding chairs jammed together squish you against the wall, forced to watch WNBA on ESPN2 as your life force is slowly sucked away. Three more men enter in the hour that you sit, waiting, the time ticking by. Tick, tick, tick, tick... and you watch each man as he replaces the one before him in a laborious, slogging procession. All while you sit. A fourth man enters, greets the witches, and is quickly rebuffed, "We're open tomorrow from 10-5. Ehhh...." she croaks, "and we don't take appointments!" Finally my ass touches spinning chair. My time has come. Here's the thing I've been keeping from you since we began -- I'm bald. All I needed was a quick shave because I was feeling lazy.
