Found friends and called For an appointment, was walk in only, first come first serve, which works great for me and most men as we just don't plan these things. Located downtown Dubuque on Main Street you will need to plug the meter, but it is easy to find with the traditional barber pile out front. It is like stepping back in the past to the 60's when you come into this narrow shop. Although there are spots for 3 barbers, I think Fred is a one man show. No need to explain what size clipper guard or that you prefer a scissors cut to a trimmer. Never been there and just had to say, off the ears and neck, short as you can go on top and part and comb. True old fashioned barbers are a dying breed, so to find one like Fred is a great find. Need a true man's haircut. This is the place to come.
