While in Myrtle Beach, I needed to find a self service car wash for "Ray Ray". A few miles away, maybe about 15mins from MB, I spotted Arts Carwash. It was located near the intersection and was very well kept. The bays were clean!! The carwash had plenty of those "soft" drying towels readily available. They weren't raggedy either. A nice gentleman that worked there was walking around asking people if they needed anything. That was a plus for me. Most attendants "hide" so you don't ask them anything. I think my hubby made a "Corvette" buddy. Credit cards are accepted as well as cash at the machines. Vacuums are free. Very nice carwash with a very nice staff. Not pricey either and you actually get a "bubble" bath for your car. read more

Got screamed at from across the parking lot by an employee for removing leaves from under my wiper blades prior to entering the carwash. I was confused, so I held my hand up with the leaves to show him it was just leaves and not trash. He then doubled down and threatened to cancel my membership. I've got my car and my wife's car on an unlimited plan and I thought to myself, why am I spending $600+ bucks per year for this? Anyways, I came back the next day and cancelled both memberships. The story really doesn't do it justice how irate Wayne was over about 2 handfuls of leaves on the complete opposite side of the carwash itself. Arts is the closest to my house, but there are plenty of other premium carwash options now in the area. read more

took my new car day before Easter and when I got through the was to dry it off noticed a scratch on the rim. I tried it again so took it back last Sunday and same thing happened only worse. I should have known better but was unsure. my husband took my car up to the manager, Brandon as he said it didn't come from there.... I told my husband he should have drove it through again just to prove to this manager he was wrong and let it do it again! I will be going back my next time off and see Brandon myself, that is if he's there and will answer my calls or call me back. read more

Charge was supposed to be $4 and a day later I noticed my card was charged $19! They are running a scam! Stay away!

Great job especially by Abby and Garfield. The vacuums always work well and my car is always very clean.

Same thing happened to me what was I supposed to read? Charge me $19 for three dollar wash rip off do not stop there.

Swiped my card to authorize for a 4 minute wash for $3. Was charged $19. Was told by owner I didn't follow the instructions properly. He tried to explain the procedure, a process I've never heard of before, and then told me he was sorry I didn't understand. No offer to make it right. I see in reviews that this has happened multiple times. At the rate of $19. Seems sketchy. Please be aware when using a card that you are authorizing for an unknown amount. read more

Paid to wash my car. Then paid to wash my tires. I was told to leave because I was taking too long to dry my car off. Wasn't allowed to use the vacuum even though I paid twice. Very rude man!! read more

The older white guy was quite rude when I asked about scrubbing the bugs off when going through the automatic wash. I wouldn't go back.

I purchased the Superior Wash and my car looked clean and shiny when I finished the Automatic Wash. I will definitely be back!

I will never use this car wash again. The employees could care less about their job but even more less about their customers. After the hurricane last night I attempted to get my car washed I waited over 30 min in line tried to blow the horn to ask the employee something and they just look at you and shrug their shoulders. I get to the gate and see cash only. there was no other signs around stating this. there is a line almost out to the road so i am unable to turn my car around. when i get to the gate the employee just states when i say i only have a credit card. not his problem I said there was no sign stating cash only except when you get to the gate he said not my problem. I said well it your job to post something sooner. he said nope it not my job. finally after trying to back my car up I leave I will never be back again. The rudest employees I have ever meet. After this hurricane I tried to get my car washed. The line was long I blew my horn In which an employee looked at me. Once after the long wait approx 30 min. I get up to the gate to pay and it said cash only. No other signs were out there and I blew the horn again at the employee as I was unable to back up due to the long line. The employee just shrugged his shoulders at me when I tried to get his attention. Once I got to the main gate and employee said cash only I said listen there are no other signs listed where I was and he replied not my fault not my problem. I said you work here you are the one taking the money. He said not my problem again. And I had to try and back out doing a 3 point turn around to get out. if you are only taking cash then post it before you get to the gate so cars know. On October 12 th approximately 2:00 pm i use this location to wash my 2014 dodge ram 3500 crew cab long bed color-True Blue. I put a ten dollar bill in the machine because the credit card reader would not read 2 of my cards. After thinking my truck was clean i drove to the bank next door, United Community Bank, walked in , 20 min later walked out to my truck, by then it had dried to reveal the filth still on my truck after presoaking, scrubbing with the brush, and then spraying off.Needless to say I will not return, I informed and showed the manager/ owner my truck, he was hmmm, shocked , offered to let me wash it again ,, then he walked off , i waited 10 min and then left. I am a busy business man i do not have the time to redue work ,,,,I will not return, i get better results in my backyard, good ole turtlewax soap and an auto brush from Walmart.and no this is not the first time this happened,but merely the last straw.
