It was a very nice shop then, but there is something about this location that seems even better. Maybe it's all the natural light from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. I'm not sure, but it is a real pleasure browsing all the beautiful work. One little thing I really like are the hand-made artisan greeting cards. There are so many unique and interesting ones, and big bonus, they are no more expensive than regularly priced Hallmark cards! How cool is that? The store itself opens to the outside of the mall, and is located at the main mall entrance. Some of the newer stores around the mall aren't up to what I'd call common "Mall Standards" and don't give the feel that Gateway Mall can be revitalized. But Prescott Art Market is a wonderful addition and gives a bit of hope to that. I highly recommend you visit this shop.

It is a fantastic 2-day festival held annually on the four-acre Sharlott Hall Museum campus. This year it was held on July 14-15. The variety of beautiful items on display and for sale is impressive: jewelry, clothing, wood carvings, ceramics, sculptures in all sorts of mediums, paintings, baskets, blankets... If you love Native American artistry as much as I do, this is definately an event to watch for. A blurb from the museum website for the 2018 festival says: "More than 102 juried American artists, representing 30 tribes and pueblos, will present traditional and contemporary artwork making PIAM one of the Southwest's premier Indian-art markets." This is one of the better shows in Prescott.

They had a covid-19 protection plan that was good-though requiring masks would be better. They have glass, ceramic, jewelry and rugs where they feature local artists.
