They have different specials throughout the year, so you pick. I chose the flower and vase. The flower uses a pulling of the glass and the vase you blow the glass. Our teacher was awesome. Very patient, very knowledgeable and saved my wife's vase from disaster (I got a bit over zealous on the blowing part). After we finished, they explained the cool down process (it takes about a week) and we scheduled our pickup time. The whole experience, for both of us, wasn't that expensive and we had a great time. Angie was a great help in assisting me with creating my "birthday party" event and Gray was a great teacher to provide the knowledge and guidance needed to all of us newbies. He walked us through each of the different types of glass and textures and how to apply the colored glass pieces. We had a separate room and were given a lot of options to choose from for each individual project. Everyone had a great time and had so much fun coming up with creative ideas for their projects. Slightly pricey but fair enough, I was excited to order a mini plank for Christmas. The pick up process is non-existent... I privately messaged the Facebook page to learn the process. AR could definitely upgrade this experience by including pick up instructions in the confirmation email. I was given a list of times I could pick up my order. Waited a few days and headed into the shop... nothing was prepared. I had a very small slice of time to pick up my order and unfortunately it took far too long. I would very highly recommend you call ahead to confirm to your order is in fact ready. Sadly, I was hoping for some cute gift packaging... maybe some tissue paper or literally anything besides just the wood and paints. My piece of plank wood does not sit flat and the handles were different than pictured. Overall, an extremely "meh" experience but the ladies who work there are super nice and that's important.

Personalized signs to decorate your house, pillows, yard signs, etc. Think of all the cutest stuff at Home Goods but with your personal touch. Visit their website to pick a workshop to attend. Each workshop has a selection of projects for you to choose from. You enter your name, year, or whatever personal info they need to set up your project. When you arrive all of your supplies and your stencil is waiting for you. You spend the next couple hours working on your creation with the guidance of the owner or other employees, and at the end you have an awesome new piece of art to take home. I am not at all creative but they make it fool proof! The owner Katie and her mom were running the show the afternoon I attended my first workshop. I was nervous to mess something up, but between them and my friend who had attended a previous workshop I was able to create a personalized sign that will go perfect in my living or dining room. (It definitely helped that I was with someone who knew what they were doing. My only critique is that there were times I had to wait for direction or wasn't super clear what I was doing. If you're more patient than me and not afraid to ask questions though, it's really not an issue.) I can't wait to come back and create something for my daughter's room or gifts for my mom and sister. Everything is so cute and I want to do all the projects! I'll be back! Oh yeah, and it's BYOB. :) My friend and I split of bottle of cider as we worked. Seriously, perfect Saturday!

I saw that beyond painting you can also use wheels and make your own stuff. There's a decent selection of things to paint (always the hardest choice) and then a wall filled with different paints and little pictures of what it'll actually look like once glazed. I appreciated the emphasis on how the color will differ based on how many layers you paint it. There's also soooo many stamps and lace and texture type stuff to help you in your design.
