(This was for the show last month with Everclear. As most people do, I'm going to mix two things…read moretogether here. Partially mumbling about the show and partially mumbling about the venue/experience.) A few things worth noting: I had been here once prior for a seated show but never for a GA one. I'm not really an Everclear fan. Nothing wrong with the music, it just never caught my ear. My daughter is a huge fan so this was totally for her. Part of the GA issue was a non-issue as I forked out for the meet & great package so we were guaranteed to be on the rail as close as you could be. Everything in the email from the 3rd party company that handles the meet & greet stuff was all spot on: Show up at time X. Buy merch if you want before you are let in. You are let in at time X. You are given bag of swag. Band plays a single acoustic song. You line up the 1st time and the band will sign whatever and briefly talk to you about whatever you want. Art loved that I wasn't bringing the kid and that it was more that the kid brought me. You line up the 2nd time for pix with the blast furnaces in the background. This was well all executed. At time Y, the rest of crowd is let in and then you wait an hour until it's time to start except it wasn't really time to start as there was an opening act that no one seemed to know about. The show was the show. When you're that close, the sound is hard to judge. To me, it's all a sludgy mess musically although Art's vocals were, all things considered, excellent. At the end of the show the band came down to the rail and they were talking/selfie taking with everyone there. Art was beyond generous and gave my kid his setlist and a pick. Overall this was good. The staff got everyone in and out easily. Parking was a non-issue as we got there early and parked strategically to get out quickly. Art and the guys are pros-pros who know what they are doing. Another show here? Yep. Why not.

The Band AJR was absolutely Dope!!& a colorful experience. Parking level 5A sucked tho we waited for an Hour or so but the two cars in line & their kids were funny even up til we finally moved ( we were parked. We plan to return! ... The Vendors were pricey an IPA can was 12$, Dasani water 5$, a Beer refill was 11$ the beer itself was 2 six packs from the store! But that's how these concerts work now I was telling my bf. I recently attended Touchstone Theatre's annual Festival Unbound featuring dance, music, walking…read moretours and socially engaged artistic experiences throughout Bethlehem. What an absolute treat! The events were all unique and extremely well produced. The opening ceremony was held at City Hall and was a wonderful sample of local artists supported by the town mayor. At Ice House I got to experience a new play about affordable housing called "Most Beautiful Home Maybe" which was interactive and very thought provoking. At National Sokols I saw a theatrical wrestling match from LVAC and rock show paired with delicious food from Jenny's Kuali catering (unbelievably delicious!) There were fun pop up story collecting booths throughout the town. Some of my friends attended, and raved about, the historic and artistic walking tours and really got to know the neighborhoods and history. Touchstone itself is also an amazing venue and ensemble theatre company and I look forward to catching a show soon! Congrats to Mary Wright, the Director of Education for curating and directing such a meaningful and impactful festival. Wow!! Absolutely epic experience - I wish every town would invest in community in this way. Outstanding!!

I was pretty excited, because she's also an exceptional artist in other media. So. I went with her to go pick up her work, but the instructor had already let someone else take her work along with their own! We were both pissed - my sister had paid a pretty decent sum to take that class, plus the materials. She complained to the school, but they did ZERO about it. NOT TRUSTWORTHY - they will let your finished art -- after all your hard work -- get stolen. Hard pass!

This is a place where local artists can be recognized and sell their craft on display. On the second and third floors are the studios where classes are given, where artists can rent out space to work at their craft. There is plenty of parking and no admission fee. I enjoyed every part of this beautiful old school environment and recommend it highly. No overpriced gimmicks, 20 minutes of commercials-stadium seating and cup holders, but lots of fresh treats to purchase as well as respectful children and adults there to enjoy a film..... in a vintage clean comfortable theater affordable that should be supported and treasured (8.00 adult tickets. 1 large popcorn-4 sodas-2 snacks 14.00 com paired to the chain theater $30-40.00 & not always enjoyable humans). Small free art gallery on site if you arrive early, Had a drink before the performance but good luck getting one in the 20 minute intermission as there must have been 50 people in line for the 2 person bar. Parking was free and easy in the attached parking garage but the entrance to the arts center isn't marked (it would be a small and very helpful feature). Parking on level 3 worked as there are steps to a small bridge to the theatre. Definitely planning on another visit.

They were nicely lighted such that you could experience their details. The lobby upon entry was well organized and the ushers were very pleasant when seating us. There is a bar in the lobby and we had some wine that you can take to your seats during the show. We are heading back for another show (Elvis Costello) in February.

The play (School of Rock) was boring and most of the instruments were little better than toys - sound was obviously controlled from backstage. Even soda and water were overpriced. Needed to have another employee get our waitress so we could pay our bill. No credits, no refunds, so if you can't make the show, you are royally screwed. Would never return here again.

Jim Brickman's holiday concert brought us out Allentown way and though it is more miles on the car it is certainly easier (and actually quicker) to get to. Can you say free parking? (At least for the event we went to) Not going to find that in NYC! Whatever your taste do not forget about the western possibilities (assuming you live in New Jersey) when looking to see your favorite performers.
