He was thorough, and very knowledgeable in his field (& in medicine in general), patiently explained what was going on with my tests, if i would need surgery again, and took his time with his patients. As a physician he is just as busy as can be with overflowing hospital conditions, so him taking the time to ease my concerns (an unusual happenstance from doctors these days), was a welcome surprise. When i went for a follow up after the endoscopy in the hospital, & the subsequent f/u procedure 3 months afterwards went smoothly and the staff were all very capable and clearly showed respect for dr Lipkin. That means a lot to me, so i not only give him 5 stars, i definitely recommend

During my annual visit in November, I informed Dr pevner I needed FMLA and he told me to have my job send him the forms to sign (even though I had a printed copy with me). A few weeks ago, I was able to complete the FMLA request process and had the papers faxed to his office. I went to the office 2 Wednesday?s ago to ask the office if he had received the fax (since he is only in the office once a week). The office manager told me yes and that I would need make an appointment for a visit to have it filled out. When I informed her that the Dr had told me to have the papers sent to him, Dr Pevner did NOT EVEN say hello to me or approach me. From his office door, he yelled at me ?what? Are you worried about a 25$ payment?? In front of everyone in the waiting room. I was highly disappointed and in shock of his rude and uncaring way of speaking to me. Terrible experience !!

Spending ample time with me at each appointment no matter how significant or insignificant it was. They are absolutely thorough, working to cover every base. Albeit I am not good at "following instructions" like going to see the referrals for preventative consultations. They do make sure they at least make the recommendations. I believe that as a Dr's Office the can be as involved or not involved as the patient wants them to be. Fortunately, my health is ok and it's my choice to have them be involved as needed. For others I know there is great follow up to appointments and for results. The staff is incredibly attentive also, in fact, I just called in to have my meds adjusted and refilled and was attended to immediately. This kind of practice is hard to find in the world of managed healthcare. I highly recommend them and would tell you to read the bad reviews, but don't pay too much attention to them as, I personally, never experienced that kind of treatment. 5 Stars to the Dr, his PA's and Staff!

I fretted so much before meeting him given the nature of my issue but he immediately put me at ease and ultimately fixed the problem with minimal "invasion." Had it required more, I'd have been very comfortable after my initial experience. Also, Christina and Jenny in the office seem to share the same friendly approach and have the ability to put you at ease immediately. For me, this type of medical need is just so personal I can't thank all of them enough. Getting an appointment with him can be rough as he is usually very booked tried to book an appointment but almost had to wait almost 3 weeks to be seen.
