These guys can turn people around. My mum stayed here for a year before peacefully passing away. When she moved into amberley her sugar was not controlled, she was under weight and was not confident in walking after a hip opp. After just 3 months she was walking, her weight was improved and her sugar under control. Sadly, they lack the same enthusiasm with their Admin staff ie poor communication with appts, and, what appeears to be poor understanding and reading of patients notes. However, once through the initial stages, you will find your Consultant extremely competent. Spacious waiting area, and well lit. Tea bar within, but not inexpensive. Two toilets , both with disabled access and facilities. Limited paid car parking immediately outside.

The Martlet's hospice l is famous in Sussex as a worldclass end of life hospice. It's astonishing…read morethat they only get 29% of their funding from the NHS. My uncle passed away here and the care and love he received was stunningly good right until the end. The place is warm and peaceful and I am proud to support their charitable work as best I can.
