My most recent interaction has been a disaster. After several weeks of trying to set up an appointment, they finally showed up. Peter Masi, the owner, gives me a price for a "perfect" (his word) system. The price is pretty steep but I gave the okay to proceed. Then Masi comes back and wants more money than previously quoted. The money was said to be to repair an obvious defect that Masi saw, or should have seen, before the original quote and included in it. I told him I would honor his original commitment for a "perfect" system but not for additional repairs. He then sends me a bill for what little work had been done - and not done well - and hounds me for payment. When someone gets you in the door of the business by promising you something certain for a price certain and then comes back and demands more to complete what was originally promised that's very wrong. Buyer beware!

I followed up with a text to the number on their voice mail system and received a text response that "they don't do installations". Revisited their website that clearly outlines that installation is part of service offering so I text back asking if something changed given what is outlined on their website. Called back as follow-up to my text about why this process is this confusing and complicated and the story then changed to "they are too busy to do new installs all the time so only do them in slower summer months" - different message than what was in the text response. I asked to speak with manager and was again asked for my info for a 3rd tim - only to still not have received a call back. Was given them as a referral from a broad, reputable network so wasn't expecting this unprofessional, bizarre and dysfunctional experience.
