To their credit, they called when they were en route to let me know they were on the way. Unfortunately, they were about two and a half hours early. I was not home ready and waiting at that time and couldn't get there. I had only planned on being there at roughly the time of the appointment. So we setup for the following day. They showed up promptly and on time on the rescheduled appointment. However, the price had more than doubled. They insisting on charging for the fact that my apartment is a third floor walk up, which requires climbing stairs even though I had specifically asked on the phone whether there was a charge for stairs and been told no. The bait-and-switch ended up making them among the most expensive estimates I had received. I declined to let them do the job. As a result of this bait-and-switch, I am now having to find someone else to do the job. Definitely disappointing, to say the least, and this company is simply disqualified from working for me again. Don't do business with them if you like straightforward arrangements.
