They gave me a confirmation email for the appointment and when I spoke to the team they let me know it was a 2 hour window - which they arrived in time. I was able to get a quote based on pictures and once they arrived they confirmed the price before beginning work. They were so fast, and were done within 30-45 minutes. Had lots on CRT TVs, some dressers, etc to remove. Called, emailed a lot of places but too expensive. Found Junkman on Yelp, called, they responded immediately. I sent photos of what I wanted removed, they gave me an estimate over phone. It was higher than I thought but on par or lower than others. They came out, we agreed on a price, started work immediately. Didn't damage the walls or floors. David (mgr) and his crew were professional and got job done in reasonable time. Zero stars. The owner showed up and gave a quote after taking pictures of what was to be hauled and told me to book through their website or call him so I booked a day later through their website. He called the day of the appointment and said they needed more notice even though it had been over a week since I booked the service through their website for the services they addressed in their quote. My coworker told him he had to ask me about rescheduling and they weren't on the line when I picked up. They never called back so I called them. They offered to come back the next day and I said ok. He showed up the next day and tried to increase the quote because nothing was staged for them to pick up. Never a part of the quote or discussed when the quote was handled. I addressed it with him and he proceeded to argue with me about it. I sent him and his helpers on their way. I've used other haulers that show up when they're supposed to and don't bicker about things not being staged and try to charge you more. I was looking forward to getting junk removed today and it didn't happen because of unprofessionalism from the owner himself. We'll get it removed elsewhere. I'm reading bad reviews here and seeing his responses and they're funny because he's calling out his own customers to make it out to be their fault instead of learning from his mistakes. He was cool when he came to give the quote and was someone else when he showed up to get the job done - which never got done. And he was happy to walk away when I told him forget it I'll call someone else. Never tried to make it better. Absolutely ridiculous. Stubborn and rude and not what you'd expect from the owner of a company. It's junk removal. Period. I can get someone else easily who does things the right way and puts their customers first. *UPDATE* and there you can see below for yourself his response to my negative review. I recently embarked upon my final home renovation project. After demo was complete, my contractor asked if I needed them to remove the construction debris from my deck. Me: Of course... He provided a separate price for the service which prompted me to shop around via Yelp. I sent messages to 4 junk removal contractors (at the same time via Yelp) and Junkman was one of the first to respond. We corresponded via Yelp, I sent a picture of my stuff, then they sent a quote and scheduled service. It was an easy process and I was happy to grab one of the coveted Saturday slots. Junkman arrived on time and assessed the debris. One of the guys politely advised that my junk was considered construction debris which has a much higher fee schedule. In fact, the fee was double the original quote for a half truck load. We discussed this further and he explained that County dumps charge more to dispose of construction debris from businesses.... After some contemplation, I decided to green light the removal. The 2 workers were courteous and efficient, hauling the junk from my deck in less than 45 minutes. They even removed some of the leaves during the process. I received a $15 first time customer discount & they were on their way. Aside from junk removal, they offer dismantling and demolition services. Although, I would have liked a more precise quote from the beginning, I would still recommend this Clinton, MD based company to my friends. read more

The service was way over priced for what you receive. I walked the yard with the supervisor and discussed all of the items I wanted rem9ved and all of the items I wanted left behind. Since I was not able to be there I asked for photos to be sent once the were done. The supervisor agreed with this. They ended up taking a lot of stuff I told them not to. They left a lot of stuff i told them to take. I told them about the items they were supposed to leave (about $200 in new building wood) and they promised to return it. They never did. They never compensated me for it either. Now I can't even get a hold of them. I had to call 7 times to get them to come back for the things they missed as well. !!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE THERE TO WATCH EVERYTHING THEY DO !!!!!!! Overall the service was great . I was provided a time frame that the team would arrive and they were on time . The only dissatisfaction i had was how much I was charged versus the amount of junk they removed . I have used a removal service before (somehow lost their contact information ) and I was charged the same price to remove MUCH MORE items . I'm actually very dissatisfied with the price versus amount of items taken. I was left with several more items that i have to somehow figure out how to remove .
