    I used ADT for well over a decade. They have over charged me, sent bills for amounts I didn't owe &…read morewere insulting over the phone. I hate to write negative reviews, but when I caught them double billing my monthly draft they kept me on the phone for 40 min & acted like they were giving me a gift instead of refunding the money they stole. I regret doing business with them and would discourage anyone else from doing so. I hate that this will harm local installers, but I feel that they are a dinosaur & companies like RING have caused them to hire unskilled customer service & compromise their standards

    I received a voucher for ADT products and services after purchasing my home. I called the number on…read morethe voucher and proceeded with my order that was indicated on the voucher. I asked 2x if this included the touchpad, and the rep said yes. Once I received my Kit (and they charged me 70.00 for shipping and activation, and 49.00 a day after receiving the equipment) I was missing the touchscreen, and I received a wired doorbell. The rep did not ask or inform me about the wired doorbell, and I dont have existing wiring. The system I was sent was called "Blue by ADT" . I called customer service and transferred 3x while having long waits. I was informed the system does not include the touch panel and they only have wired doorbells. Only ADT has the battery operated door bells. I explained I called the number on the voucher that states "Google Nest Doorbell" I received something called Blue. The rep said I was signed up for the Blue service, and tried to explain, I called the number on the voucher. She said I was sent Blue because I am not a homeowner, which I am. She was rude explaining why I was billed and kept insisting only ADT (not Blue by ADT) carries the products I was calling in about. Like I said, I called the number on the voucher. Very unprofessional, and did not even know if the doorbell had a battery option when I first called.

    I never like to write the bad review, but with this one, really hit me hard I hired Chris to…read moreinstall cameras in my hotel, cabins and triplexes. It cost me a lot mone. promise me this system is excellent for business. I found out couple months later. That's all lie. I set up an appointment for him to meet my property manager over three times no-show every time I called him he was not truthful with me and he said he never read my text messages or see my calls. I tried not to confront the lies and set another appointment very disappointed again then he asked me to send him pictures of the cameras what he installed them himself picture of the main board purchased it from him, it's been over four months waiting for him to come back and fix the issues. I think this company too big too greedy and customer service is not he's priority anymore.

I believe a business should provide the services they promise, when they promise and not ignore the customers they took money from because they feel the job is complete. Chris finally did call me and told me the reason he didn't respond was because he was dealing with personal issues, which is understandable, we all have those from time to time. Not once did he apologize or try to make right the substandard system he installed after the sale was final. As a business owner for 20 years, I understand that the sale isn't over once the payment clears. I think that the success of a business depends on how you treat your customers after the sale... I think Chris found that out the hard way. From my understanding, he is no longer in business.
