The tenant was only obligated to pay for one room in a house, so they were getting the entire property for next to nothing. While we spent many months going back and forth with the tenant trying to resolve the situation, and getting not-so-great advice from other lawyers, a family friend recommended us to Anthony Marinaccio. During our first consultation, Anthony found a very clear strategy that he believed would work to gain possession of the property again. He was very attentive to our needs, and took time out of his busy schedule to explain all the legal steps in the eviction process as we proceeded. His staff consisting Natalie and Delmy were also really good at keeping all of our information and affairs organized. The team took care of serving all of the proper papers when it came time to give a 60-day notice. They then were able to handle all the paperwork and court proceeding related to the unlawful detainer. We didn't have to do much of anything. And they were always very transparent about the fees and what they were charging us for. After about 4-5 months, which is lightning fast if you have ever been through this type of legal maneuvering, we were able to acquire possession of the property and now we are able to begin remodeling the property and getting it back to a good footing.
